Hearing on U.S. Airways Flight 1549
Testimony before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Aviation
Present were Flight 1549’s Captain Sullenberger. First Officer Jeff Skiles, Flight Attendants: Sheila Dail, Doreen Welsh, Donna Dent and Air Traffic Controller, Pat Harten.
They did not have prepared statements like the men did. They didn’t say much more than what they had described before = the disparity between the front and the back of the plane, didn’t know they had landed on water, they waited for the cockpit commands and then followed their training. Welsh was still not wearing her uniform. I don’t see her returning. Donna Dent is the one I worry about.-==
