I’ve heard of the Virgin Mary’s image being seen on windows, walls, toast and even potato chips. But in the border town of Calexico folks are flocking to Las Palmas restaurant to view an apparition of the Virgin Mary on a griddle. It appeared while the cook was using it – but it has since been removed from the stove and placed in a separate room for viewing purposes. Over 100 people have visited and probably many more are on their way.
It looks as if a plastic statue of the Virgin was laid on top and melted.
