CNN Newsroom Rick Sanchez
Topic: townhall meetings and whether the insurance industry is behind them as Gibbs said.
Guest: Media Matters “Senior Fellow” ERIC BOEHLERT: “Award winning journalist who writes about the media and politics”
It’s nice to see a face (white of course) and hear the voice of one of the people behind their attacks.
What is Media Matters doing on CNN?
Is CNN no longer promoting racist conspiracies?
Have they become the Most Trusted Name in News Propaganda again?
Media Matters has spent the last few weeks slamming Jon Klein and CNN for their “Lou Dobbs problem” aka his “relentless promotion of these conspiracy theories tinged with racism.” They went so far as to make an ad (which was supposed to run on CNN – I don’t know if it did) saying that because Lou Dobbs – WHO HAS ALWAYS SAID BARRY IS A CITIZEN - asked barry to produce his birth certificate, Dobbs was promoting racially charged paranoia.
There’s nothing racist about asking a man claiming transparency to produce evidence of his actual physical birthplace. One could argue barry is getting a pass because he is black. Every white president’s physical birthplace is known as well are the birthplaces of all of his white opponents.
So a Media Matters member is not only on CNN, he is discussing his own “conspiracy theories tinged with racism” and displaying his own “racially charged paranoia“.
Who are the delusional loonies?
BOEHLERT says he’s convinced (paranoid) somebody’s conspiring to incite havoc at townhalls and that the participants have a “deep-seated hatred for barry” (code for racists). Then he goes on to accuse the townhallers of “chasing congressmen to their cars” – when his pal Mike Stark at FireDogLake chased Congressmen down the street, up the stairs, and, yes, to their cars. Look at the video.
I have to find out who owns Media Matters and how much money they have invested in barry. Their desperation is making them look as irrational as the birthers. Somebody over there knows what’s on that birth certificate and very soon they will be exposed and their entire organization discredited.
Well, I guess BOEHLERT already did that by appearing on CNN.

RICK SANCHEZ:
There are instances where you hear people sound like they’re reading from, in fact, the same script. And that’s what the White House is now saying, as well. But they’re even taking it to another step. They’re taking it a step forward. They’re accusing a specific conservative health-care executive of orchestrating these protests.
ROBERT GIBBS VIDEOTAPE:
I think what you’ve seen is they have — they have bragged about — about manufacturing to some degree that anger to — I think you’ve got somebody who’s very involved, a leader of that group, that’s very involved in the status quo, the CEO that used to run a health-care company that was fined by the federal government $1.7 billion for fraud. I think that’s a lot of what you need to know about the motives of that group.
Someone needs to tell GIBBS that the campaign is over and that whining highlights barry’s impotency. More proof that all they know how to do is campaign.
SANCHEZ:
That’s why we’ve invited that executive, Rick Scott to join us here. He’s going to be her in just a moment to try and defend himself.
Is this thing orchestrated?
BOEHLERT:
There’s no question.
I mean, there’s — there’s nothing wrong with activism.
There’s nothing wrong with rallying people for a point of view and having your views heard. But it’s ironic.
Here we have a town-hall forum and, basically, the entire premise is to shut down any conversation, shut down any debate; yell and heckle and scream and sort of chase congressmen to their cars.
That’s being orchestrated and it has really nothing to do with health care.
It’s tapping into, you know, sort of a radical minority which has a deep-seated hatred of Barack Obama.
A chuckle. Our Founding Fathers appear to have been our descendants:
SANCHEZ:
Isn’t this what our descendants did who founded this country in Boston?
BOEHLERT:
…insult congressmen…
…mini-mobs run the congressman out of town
Watch how FireDogLake insults the Congressmen and Congresswoman right to their face. And he’s a mini-mob of one. One of the Congressmen, who is literally being chased, says to Stark, who had been insulting him as in “Is this as fast as you can run?”, that he is the “Scum of the earth”. Worth watching.
SANCHEZ:
It goes further, because now the White House is involved in this. And Robert Gibbs is saying — he said it Tuesday — that this thing is being orchestrated by a big-buck health-care executive. And he didn’t name that executive, but he said enough about him that we were able to construe that he’s probably talking about our next guest, who’s coming on in just a little bit, which is Rick Scott. Is that what you heard him saying?
There’s Rick Scott’s picture, by the way
Seems BOEHLERT has a short memory from these next comments. Just think back to the primaries and the general election and who used money to buy their way to the presidency. His final comment says it all.
BOEHLERT:
The point is, he’s running, you know, these $1 million ad campaigns.
There’s a little double standard there.
