Cynthia Tucker 45-65% townhallers are racists
Rep Scott: “There’s so much hatred out there for President Obama“
Rep Dingell likens townhallers to KKK & White Supremacists
Recall the Nazi references to George Bush
Whoever thought barry was going to be this post racial whatever – weren’t you watching the primaries? Where he used the race card at every turn until he was caught on it with the dollar bills? And then it became they’re anti-muslims, then terrorists and then back to race.
And this notion of him being post partisan?
Name one thing.
Everything nonbots said would happen has already transpired except for his lie on Guantanamo Bay that will be proven on January 21, 2010.
And then there’s Rep Jim Clyburn, who makes every single thing about race. It is so ridiculous it should be insulting to all Americans and yet the white liberal media continue to give him a platform. Anything to help barry – a man they know nothing about.
HOW IS THIS LIKE THE 60′s?
The president is biracial. Though he prefers black so he can further dis the typical white persons who raised him when his actual black father abandoned him.
And what is Clyburn basing his claims of racism on?
The color of the protesters’ skin.
Period.
End of story.
And so did Cynthia Tucker, who although she has never talked to any of the protesters – not one – estimated that 45-65% of the townhall goers are racists. And that was in reference to all the townhall goers.
Now how can she say that and get away with it?
Double Standard.
Is she not judging folks on the color of their skin?
ABSOLUTELY.
And if they were a group of angry black folks at a whitey congressman’s townhall – would she make such an assumption?
Would a white columnist ever be permitted to sit on Hardball and say such a thing?
ABSOLUTELY NOT.
It’s perfectly clear who the racists are – the ones calling others racists – because they are basing their despicable comments on the color of folks’ skin – but because they’re black it’s ok?
Get real.
Racism is racism.
Bigotry is bigotry.
Judging someone solely on the basis of their skin color covers all pigmentation.
Either it’s ok or it isn’t.
It’s not ok for black folks to just spout off that 45-65% of whiteys are racists because they are angry with barry’s policies.
What does it say about black folks who are judging whiteys to be racists just because they are white?
What does it say about the predominantly white media who sit there and do not call folks on it?
Here’s Clyburn’s words. Has he ever disagreed with any white person and not called them racist?
What a wonderful example as the third ranking Congressman in the House.
And if someone were to tell him that what he says is racist in itself?
My guess is that he would laugh.
What was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt with this campaign is the Double Standard is alive and well. As is white guilt and black silence.
There will be no improvement in race relations until black folks stop calling whiteys racists whenever there is a disagreement with barry.
Ever heard Clyburn talk about the 8 Million eligible black voters who could not find the time to even register to vote for “The First Black President”? That’s one-third of all eligible black voters who couldn’t be bothered to vote for Change!
Why?
Perhaps he should enlighten folks about that.
Huffington Post’s SAM STEIN interview:
REP CLYBURN (D-SC)
I have seen this kind of hate before. I have seen this discussion before. I have seen snarling dogs going after people who were trying to peacefully assemble. I have seen the eyes of people who were being spat upon.
SNARLING DOGS? People spat upon?
This is all about activity trying to deny the establishment of a civil right. And I do believe that health care for all is — a civil right. And I think that is why you see this kind of activity. This is an attempt on the part of some to deny the establishment of a civil right.
Universal healthcare is not considered a civil right and Rep Clyburn can’t just declare it to be so to justify his hateful words.
A swastika had been painted on a sign outside the office of Rep. David Scott (D-GA) [Stein mistakenly writes "on the door"] and Clyburn said it’s proof enough some of the protests were racially motivated.
REP CLYBURN: There is no question in my mind.
Has there ever been any doubt in Clyburn’s mind when it comes to racial motivation?
Please see this post for all the swastikas and AH posters in reference to Pres Bush done by Rep Clyburn’s party.
Then he whines about Republicans not putting an end to it. A quick google search revealed no evidence of Clyburn calling for his fellow Democrats to do so when his own party was doing the same to Bush. The hypocrisy is ridiculous.
And when is barry the wimp going to stand up for himself?
Whether he likes it or not he is president to all Americans, including the “whackjobs” and it’s about time he started dealing with it. Same as Clyburn.
REP CLYBURN: How many times have I heard [House Minority Leader] John Boehner asking some member of the Democratic Caucus to disassociate himself or herself from Nancy Pelosi’s position.
Not even close. That is co-worker – not anonymous racist whiteys.
And what has he – himself – done in his own district to gain support for barry?
And how is saying these inflammatory words going to help put an end to the agitation?
How much campaigning do you think he personally did for barry?
More than then racist Sen Clinton?
NOT.
And what percentage of barry’s grassroots volunteers were racist whiteys?
