Florida Democrats thought that since Rep Posey voted for the resolution recognizing Hawaii’s 50th anniversary, which incidentally noted that barry was born there – not legal – means nothing – they figured Rep Posey would drop the bill – Bill H.R. 1530.
He’s not – Posey’s statement.
Why? Why should they care at all?
Wasn’t Sen McCain the problem this election?
Didn’t they have to have their little senate meeting to declare McCain a natural born citizen?
Makes perfect sense if barry’s papers are a-ok…which they tell us they are.
Besides don’t they have to vote and doesn’t barry have to sign it?
From TPM’s ERIC KLEEFELD: Florida Democrats’ statement re: Posey’s bill:
Now that Rep. Bill Posey not only allowed the House of Representatives to certify the Presidential Election in January, but he also voted last night in Congress to declare President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, the question he needs to answer today is:
Will Bill Posey withdraw his crazy bill questioning President Obama’s citizenship?
Because the people of Florida’s 15th District need a Congressman focused on creating jobs and fighting for NASA, hopefully last night’s vote shows that Posey has finally taken off his tinfoil hat and will finally get to work on the issues that matter.
Real professional isn’t it? It sounds like a blog entry.
Calling their fellow Rep a crazy birther with a tinfoil hat and that is supposed to make him roll over?
He’s going to go at it with a vengeance, as well as his constituents.
And why do they keep saying it’s questioning barry’s citizenship?
It does nothing of the sort…until 2012. If barry lasts that long (NFW), then he just doesn’t run for a second term.
