Report your fellow citizens to Big Brother Barry!

August 5, 2009

August 5, 2009

I saw Linda Douglass on MSNBC yesterday and her “breathless” panic is giving them away, as did that hip, hip hooray Harry Reid and Chris Dodd press conference. barry said what he said. There’s no changing that with a long explanation of quotes taken out of context – we’re already familiar with barry campaign ads.

Consider healthcare a dead issue. (No need to report me. They already know who I am and I don’t have long to live anyway.) The $32.6 BILLION in bonuses given out after receiving $175 B in taxpayer funds and barry’s lying about not knowing of the AIG bonuses has ticked off alot of folks. Add to that the Cap and Trade Bill – which nobody read and which never got that 5 days of sunshine. The healthcare “press conference” that became about race. The barrymedia calling folks who don’t agree with him racists. The overhyping of the Obama Joker that was originally posted on Flickr in January.

.Watch the polls and you can predict when he’s going to use race and when it’s working. He’s up 4 points from last week. Gates was a success for barry and for Gates’ own book signing. And Ms Walen’s life will never be the same – Gates’ roses aside – because of what barry did for his own political gain.

Folks would like to believe he is trying to accomplish healthcare health insurance reform – you know tackling Nanci’s immoral villians who handed her $321K -  before Sen Kennedy passes. But barry doesn’t do anything unless it contributes to his own glory and getting it done after Sen Kennedy’s passing would do more for his Ego legacy. He’s trying to get it done because he may not have a second term – even though the democrats are trying to destroy every viable GOP candidate. Why is the Chair of the Alaskan Democratic Party still going after Gov Palin’s emails to the tune of over $600K? And then there’s the obvious motivation: The Clintons’–who he has refused to say are not racists but is happy to use when he doesn’t know what to do–failure with healthcare.

It has nothing to do with the 14,000 people losing their health insurance every day. His plan has no mandate. It is not going to be “universal healthcare”. And even the most paranoid “birthers” have good reason to believe that what they have now will most definitely change and their taxes increased. Recall that this is a man who thought making veterans pay for treatment of their service-related injuries with private insurance was a good idea.

And he’s not exactly kept his promises has he?

So now Big Brother Barry wants YOU to spy on your neighbors and send the White House an email so barry can get googleman (Why did he really leave Apple — to become Big Brother Czar?) to scrub their websites and block visitors and sic barrybots on them. He doesn’t need an email to listen to their phones or read their texts because of his promise lie about FISA.

From MACON PHILLIPS, WH Briefing Room Blog: [emphasis! added]

Scary [!!!] chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly [!!!] claiming, for example, to “uncover” the truth about the President’s health insurance reform positions.

Which “truth”?

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care.  These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.  Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy [!!!], send it to flagATwhitehouse.gov.

Flag?

Internet is one thing – it’s as public a domain as there is and folks tend to believe anything – like, for instance, that barry released his birth certificate, but casusal conversation?

Updated list of birth certificate posts

Bill O’Reilly panders to Media Matters by giving them free shot at Lou Dobbs.

NewPoliticsNews

By the way, Reality Check is the most trusted name in news. Check sees nothing racial in the birth certificate controversy – it’s all about far right politics. But Media Matters traffics in alleged racism. It’s one of their favorite attack mechanism.

It’s working isn’t it? Add Gates and what’s happening to barry poll numbers? Up 4 points.

Open letter to Bill O’Reilly
Birth certificate posts

That’s what O’Reilly says about barry’s birthplace. He has no interest in wanting to know where barry was born. How can O’Reilly consider him any type of political commentator if he doesn’t even value the Constitution? It’s now perfectly clear he has been gotten to. He doesn’t want it to come out because he would be found out as an fraud too. None of the media can be taken seriously.

I wonder what Mr Cronkite is thinking about all this?

Bill O’Reilly thinks the birth certificate issue is dumb, he doesn’t care where barry was born said he could find out tomorrow if he wanted [admitting he doesn't know], thinks the newspapers ads prove there can’t be a conspiracy, says why would barry release it when it makes his opponents look unhinged and then actually repeats barry’s campaign rhetoric.

NewsPoliticsNews

…but many conservatives are acting foolishly. Instead of concentrating on ideas, they are frenzied over the president’s birth certificate and that kind of dumb stuff. Mr. Obama loves this because it makes his opposition look irrational.

Why would he ever release his birth certificate when those demanding it look unhinged.

Because it’s part of the job application? Because the Constitution is what this country was founded on? And why is he even being given a choice? Would Hillary Clinton be given a choice? Why the double standard?

His guests are conservatives radio host Mike Gallagher FOX analyst and Newsmax’s Christopher Ruddy.

PoliticsNewsPolitics

BILL OREILLY: Chris, am I making any mistakes here?

CHRISTOPHER RUDDY:

I think there are some legitimate issues concerning the birth certificate….He has yet to release his actual birth certificate…We do not know as of this date where in Hawaii President Obama was born.

REILLY: I think it was in or around Honolulu based on the two newspapers that rant the advertising of his birth.

Ruddy laughs.

RUDDY: The King of Cable News doesn’t even know where the President was born.

OREILLY:

I don’t care. Chris, if I wanted to know, I would find out tomorrow and I don’t care…

Two  separate newspaper the Advertiser and the Bullentin the same week Obama was born announced it. You cannot have a conspiracy at that level.

Newspaper notices that do not contain a name, a hospital, a location of birth and reportedly contains an address the Obama’s never lived at. The POTUS is in office without having released any of his vital records. The media not only doesn’t care they’ve gone out of their way not to cover it. And now there’s a report that they were explicitly told not to cover it back in December? What level of conspiracy is that?

RUDDY: I have no doubt he was born in Hawaii. I have no question of that.

OREILLY:

Obama is using that issue to paint the GOP as a bunch of kooks who don’t have any ideas in their head... why would he release his birth certificate when he has that kind of a hammer going after the GOP?

MIKE GALLAGHER:

This is a request to say where is the official birth certificate...To brand people as crazy extremists, birthers simply because they’re asking for a birth certificate?

RUDDY:

I think he should release it. I don’t think it should stop him from being president.

OREILLY: Alright, maybe he should.

O’Reilly has lost his spine.

RUDDY: I also think he should release his college records.

OREILLY says the GOP can’t exploit barry’s dropping numbers because cuz “they’re tied up in nonsense - in stuff that doesn’t matter” and that “voters don’t care about the birth certificate“.

RUDDY:

It’s a fringe issue. Granted. But he’s never released his college records. He never released his medical records.

OREILLY: Nobody cares, Chris.

RUDDY: He never released his state legislative records.

OREILLY: Nobody cares. The only people who care are the Obama haters.

RUDDY: The press used to care.

OREILLY: No they don’t. The Obama haters care. That’s it.

RUDDY:

Look, if it’s a Republican they care – the media cares – they want full disclosure.  He said he was going to be the most transparent president ever. He has yet to live up to that promise.

OREILLY:

Chris, it doesn’t matter to the voters whether he releases his college transcripts or not. They don’t care.

[...]

RUDDY:

I think the birth issue is a side issue but it’s symbolic. I like full disclosure from the president – I don’t care if he’s a  Democrat or Republican.

CNN poll Gates – Crowley – barry

August 4, 2009

August 4, 2009

CNN’s new poll re: Gates – Crowley – barry shows a racial divide in who acted “stupidly” and yet no one really knows what went on there. Still.

There are two truths, though:

1) barry was wrong in what he did and 2) Ms Whalen was irreparably harmed by his actions.

And no amount of beer or roses is ever going to change what was done to her. Nothing. And barry is to blame for that.

What happened to Sgt Crowley?

Trashed and labeled a racist, supported by fellow officers, beer photo op at the WH

And what did Gates get out of the deal?

Credibility for his class and plenty of free press for his book.

You make your own conclusions as why Gates first statement was a racial taunt. Why it wasn’t a simply this is my house, here is my ID, the door gets jammed because of a previous break in, thank you Officer, good bye.

Women stick it to adulterer

August 3, 2009

August 3, 2009

Sometimes things in nature take care of themselves.

A married man decides to have sex with three women who are not his wife. Concurrently, not in the same bed. The women discover his gluttony and confer on the best course of action. Woman A promises adulterer a nice massage at a nearby hotel. He happily obliges, including allowing himself to be restrained. Once restrained, Woman A texts wife and Women B & C. Once all four are present they confront the adulterer, who of course is in no position to argue. But it appears he did. Not pleased, Woman A delivers a punch to his adulterous lips. The message still must not have gotten across because Woman A then moved southward and allegedly glued his penis to his abdomen. Adulterer screams. Women flee. Police are called. Women, ages 48, 43, 43 (and wife) are charged with False Imprisonment and released on $200 bond.

Unknown whether Woman A glued the adulterer’s urethra closed, what needed to be done to unstick it, or how the offending organ is doing — but it gives a new meaning to sticky wicket.

Source: AP “not naming the wife to protect the man’s identity”.

What are the chances the women’s four phones did more than text?

Rep Reichert holds ground with tabloid anti-birthers

August 1, 2009

July 20, 2009

Updated birth certificate posts

Tabloid video of the same stalkerazzi running after other Republicans – some of which he doesn’t even know.

REP DAVE REICHERT (R-WA) is in the other one but he says what the stalker wants on video so he got his own video put of the deal. And also because some dude is on the street with a big piece of cardboard of a list of something that you can’t see because it’s not written in marker, who says barry was born in Mombasa Kenya.

I don’t know the exact breakdown – but not all the birthers think he was born in Kenya. Most just want to see a copy of his original birth certificate because that COLB is meaningless. Just to see what he is hiding and for barrymedia to do their job and make him produce it. The COLB needs to be investigated as well. Hawaii has never confirmed they even sent him a COLB. The two documents exist as separate entities.

Rep Reichert (former SWAT) was one of the Task Force members that caught, interrogated and put away the Green River Killer. That man was pure evil. I watched Reichert look into his eyes for I think it was 2 minutes – staring into that evil — until the psychopath looked away. It was the most remarkable piece of video I’ve ever seen. In that room, good overcame evil. Proof positive that satan knew what he was doing, knew it was wrong, and knew the man looking at him knew exactly that.

Look at the body language. Who’s the prey here?

(AP Photo/Courtesy King Co. Prosecutor’s Office) video at link, if interested

I was hoping he’d give stalker one of these each time he was interrupted by him.

Stalker = MIKE STARK of FDL Action and camerman BRETT VAUGHN of Brave New Films. One helluva brave new film running down members of Congress they don’t even know.

firedoglake

Again he goes with the well-rehearsed Constitutionally permitted instead of eligible.

STALKER: Do you think BO was a natural born citizen and Constitutionally permitted to serve as President?

REP REICHERT:

I believe the people of America have elected BO as the President of the United States. I believe that we as Americans need to support the president and we want him to be successful. And I want this country to be successful. In order for the country to be successful, the president needs to be successful.

And, as far as the question as to whether or not he’s a citizen–

STALKER: Natural born citizen–

REICHERT:--natural born citizen–

STALKER: Constitutionally permitted to serve – because if he’s not he’s Constitutionally permitted.

Remember those words.

REP REICHERT:

Let me answer this one, Mike…I’m not the person qualified to answer that question because--

STALKER: Well, you can tell us what you believe.

REICHERT:

Well, I believe he is, because I haven’t seen any proof--

STALKER: That’s what we need. That’s a courageous statement.

REICHERT:

...I’m a cop…I haven’t seen any proof that says that he’s not. If somebody–

He hasn’t seen any proof that he is either.

STALKER: Well, there’s a BIRTH CERTIFICATE available that that says that he is.

Yes, there is a birth certificate available but no one but Dr Fukino and the registrar have seen it.

REICHERT:

But I haven’t seen it. If there are people in this country that want to raise that question- we are America, we have a right to raise that question–

STALKER interrupts again. But that’s not a question you’re worried about. Your not raising it.

REICHERT:

Please let me finish. You have to let me finish.

If we’re in America, and we are free, and we allow people to say–people stand on the sidewalk, and this gentleman gets to stand for what he believes in in the way he decides to because we’re American.

MAN ON STREET holding cardboard sign:

He was born in Mombasa, Kenya.

REICHERT laughs: See – there we go.

STALKER laughs: Sorry, that wasn’t planned. You know that.

It’s clear they are not clever enough.

REICHERT:

So my point is. There are people here that may have a certain belief and in this country we have the freedom to pursue that. So, I have no objection with people raising the question – but for me personally–

STALKER: Have your constituents raised the question? Have you looked into it on their behalf?

REICHERT:

No. No. No one–I haven’t been asked to look into it. I know there are people in my District who are engaged--

STALKER: Would you look into it?

REICHERT:

No, it’s not the responsibility of a member of Congress. I have no jurisdiction….

Stalker is rude and keeps cutting him off and looking around for someone else. Mentions the Supreme Court and then says I gotta let you go. “I got it.”Meaning he’s got his sound bite. But Reichert is getting his camera time. It’s clear he’s got some ambitions and he certainly looks the part.

REICHERT: …The president is the president….

He didn’t vote for him but the people elected him and he will support him as much as he can–

STALKER: Do you believe he was born in the US?

REICHERT:

Let me make my points.

So this country succeeds. And I believe he is a natural born citizen of this country until proven otherwise

STALKER interrupts, again: But you must, because you to took the OATH TO THE CONSTITUTION as well.

“Oath to the Constitution”? Reichert took the Military Oath of Office to enter the Air Force before he took the Oath of Office as Congressman.

Stalker is proving himself to be an idiot and a very rude one at that. Kudos to Rep Reichert for not hauling off and hitting him. He must have been a very good hostage negotiator though I imagine this conversation would have gone quite different without the camera.

REICHERT:

I want to see the evidence. So, if people can raise evidence to prove otherwise, then we, of course, then have to address that issue.

Stalker had no trouble sayingSo you’re kind of afraid of the lunatic fringe base? to Rep CATHY MCMORRIS RODGERS but here he backs off. Why?

STALKER: So you’ve given me the most courageous statement of any Reublican up here – so thanks for that. The Republican Party needs some people to stand tall and come up with some reasons – positions for this stuff — instead of kowtowing to what I CONSIDER TO BE KIND OF A LUNATIC FRINGE. If they’re out there railing against this and have no evidence otherwise that really is a kind of craziness – isn’t it?

Cameraman pans over to the dude with the cardboard as a prime example. Dude responds by putting his cardboard toward the camera but the writing is not visible.

REICHERT:

No, I wouldn’t describe it that way…

He then mentions both parties have their extremes and again Stalker cuts him off. He is the rudest person I have ever seen. And then shows his true colors, proving him to be a true barryfan.

STALKER: That’s exactly what I told your communications GIRL. The Democrats marginalized Michael Moore and Cindy Sheehan. The Republicans seem to embrace these Tea Party folks that are out their with their signs saying that barry’s not born in the US…

Teabaggers are birthers now. Every barry naysayer is a birther. Anyone is who wonders why newspaper notices – that no one can vouch for from 48 years ago -  are preferable to the actual birth certificate copy.

Has anyone physically examined the microfiche?

And the reason for using the notice? No need to name the child. No need to name the hospital. No need to see the actual father’s information.

And what’s up with the “African”?

There’s one thing about his book that struck me as odd. barry said he didn’t want to know what the marriage certificate said. Why?

And as far as embracing lunatics – most of the barrymedia – men included – would like to physically embrace barry. Their behavior is way creepier than anything the birthers or teabaggers do – especially that creepy, creepy TIME editor.

And this is the best line out of both videos:

STALKER: …so that’s what I’m looking to do with this kind of JOURNALISM PIECE.

Journalism piece? Tabloid journalism, maybe. What he says in these two videos would fit right in in  a tabloid. Rude non-facts.

Stalker gives him a few sentences but then cuts him off for good – though Reichert makes sure to be the one to end it. He’s got to work a little on his sound bites – no counting off with his fingers — too staged. He’s a natural communicator with a logical mind – he just needs to study.

REICHERT:

Don’t include me in all Republicans. You can’t generalize with people. I am a Republican. And I am proud to be a Republican. However, I am also an American and I am more proud to be an American. And as an American…I want to base every decision I make, and everything that I look at in this world that I happen to be in right now, on as much fact as I can. And that’s how I operate.

STALKER: And let’s solve some problems. Instead of getting distracted with all this. I’ll call it crazy. You don’t have to.

What would Mr Cronkite think of this “journalism”?

Would he ever be that rude and disrespectful and flat out wrong?

Would he have tolerated it in his newsroom?

What was this video supposed to accomplish?

It just reinforced how rude and ignorant (as in not aware of actual facts) barryfans are.

Sen Dodd statement re: newly-diagnosed prostate cancer

August 1, 2009

August 1, 2009

On top of all of his problems in the Senate and with his approval rating of 33% at home, Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He announced it yesterday in a press conference with his wife, Jackie Clegg Dodd, who appears to be a lovely woman. He states that it was caught very early and that it in “no way affects re-election plans” but he will undergo surgery to have his entire prostate removed. He uses the opportunity to mention healthcare.

firedoglake

I’m running for re-election. I’ll be little leaner and a little meaner — I’ll be running without a prostate. Who knows, maybe I’ll make a better candidate.

SENATOR DODD written stateemnt:

Thanks for being here.

I wanted to let you know that I’ve been diagnosed with an early stage of prostate cancer.

It’s something that’s very common among men my age. In fact, one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer at some point during their life. And that’s why, every year when I get my annual check-up, I get a routine blood test called a PSA.

This year, the results of that test led my doctor to order a biopsy, and that’s how I learned of the disease.

Now, let me say three very important things, and then I’ll be happy to answer your questions.

First, I feel fine. As you have probably noticed, I’m working some long and hard hours lately. And that will continue.

Second, I’m going to be fine. We caught this early. The biopsies I had showed a minimal amount of cancer, and that it hasn’t spread. My prognosis is excellent.

Third, as a Member of Congress, I have good health insurance. I was able to seek the opinions of highly skilled doctors, consider all the available options, and choose the treatment that’s right for me.

When the Senate adjourns at the end of next week, I’m going to have surgery. After a brief recuperation at home, I’ll be back at work.

My hope is that we will pass the Health Care bill that we passed in the HELP Committee in the Senate so that every American will be able to get an annual physical and talk to their doctor about screening so that problems like this can be caught early and treated.

His physician, DR HOWARD SCHER:

Senator Dodd has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was found in an early stage and the prognosis for his full recovery is excellent. While there are many treatment options available for people with prostate cancer, after consultation with his physicians the recommended course of treatment for Senator Dodd is surgery. He will have the surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is expected to return to full activity within a few weeks of the surgery.

Sen McCain re barry: “don’t call it changing the climate in Washington”

August 1, 2009

August 1, 2009

Sen John McCain chatted with CNN’s John King about barry, which will air Sunday on State of The Union.

A tease: Has barry reached across the aisle like he promised?

SEN MCCAIN: Look they’ve got the votes. We understand that. They had the votes in the stimulus package, in the budget, in the Omnibus, in the SCHIP, all this legislation. And they have picked off, sometimes, two or three Republicans. But that’s not changing the climate in Washington. What that is, is exercising a significant majority,. And so I — I respect their successes, but please don’t call it changing the climate in Washington.

Of course not – he couldn’t reach across his own party to the former president. And to think of all those people who actually believed him.

Why didn’t they get the hint when he picked as his VP a man who has been in Washington all his life?

Rep Posey bill 10th cosponsor: Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-TX)

Updated birth certificate posts #2

Rep Posey’s bill has its 10th co-sponsor: Rep Louis/Louie Gohmert (R-TX), who signed on July 29th.

Introduced March 12, 2009, it requires FUTURE presidential candidates to present at minimum a copy of their birth certificate (and whatever else necessary) to prove they are Constitutionally eligible to hold the office. Though I imagine it would apply to barry running for a second term…
