Seems Rep Joe Wilson (R-SC) isn’t about to be silenced any time soon. His opponent, Rob Miller, raised $750K after Wilson’s “You lie!” outburst. Wilson’s fighting back with this video and cash call at his website. Full statement.
It appears to be working as this is what I just saw:
He doesn’t look or sound like a guy who would do that.
On these issues, I will not be muzzled.
I will speak up, and speak loudly, against this risky plan.
The supporters of the government takeover of health care, and the liberals who want to give health care to illegals, are using my opposition as an excuse to distract from the critical questions being raised about this poorly-conceived plan. they want to silence anyone who speaks out against it. They made it clear they want to defeat me, and pass the plan.
I need your help now.
If you agree with me that the government run health plan is bad medicine for Americans, then I ask for your support.
Health care is a matter of life and death for so many. I choose life, with health-insurance reform.
