More pictures of the 19lb 2oz baby. He has been named: AKBAR which in Arabic means “great”.

Father  MUHAMMAD HASANUDDIN:

I’m very happy that my baby and his mother are in good health. I hope I can afford to feed the baby enough, because he needs more milk than other babies.

DOCTOR:

He is greedy and has a strong appetite, nursing almost non-stop.

Of course. He has a constant glucose supply for 9 months

A three-day-old baby boy, weighing 8.7-kilograms (19.2-pounds) left, lays next to a standard size newborn baby at a hospital in Kisaran, North Sumatra, Indonesia. He is the heaviest newborn ever recorded in the country, a doctor said.
