Edwards still hasn’t admitted to fathering that child.
Prosecutors are evaluating whether the money paid to Reilly Hunter was a permissible use of campaign funds or a FEC violation. He could also be subject to criminal prosecution. He should be placed in a public square in stocks. His biggest crime was going through with his presidential campaign knowing he could never be president. The DNC knew but okayed it so he could split the vote and make it easier for barry to win/have a chance in Iowa. What about his donors who are now finding out that their funds went to his mistress?
The reporter mentions how the MSM hadn’t been following it. They haven’t been covering much of anything except barry appearances.
NY Times article – Edwards, after his wife died, promised to marry Hunter in NYC a rooftop with the Dave Matthews Band providing the wedding music. Rooftop? He carried on with Hunter all during his wife’s chemotherapy and surgeries and return of her cancer. All the while their young children not receiving the love and attention he was happily committing adultery. Like those children don’t enough turmoil? And a possible prosecution with all the sordid details leaked?
Andrew Young, who first said it was his baby, has a book proposal and is singing away.
NY Times:
Mr. Edwards asked Mr. Baron if he could find a doctor who would falsify a DNA report.
And Edwards’ lawyer is still hesitating, waiting to see if Edwards can get by without an admission of paternity.

There may be a statement on that subject at some point, but there is no timetable and we will see how we feel about it as events unfold.
You know he has already taken DNA tests that have proven him to be the father. And like it is needed anyway. The child looks just like him, which is why mom took her to the courthouse for all to see.
For her grand jury appearance on Aug. 6, Ms. Hunter took her daughter to the federal courthouse in downtown Raleigh. As she walked in, she seemed to turn the girl’s face toward the local television cameras.
How is Ms Hunter going to pay for her part? She was having sex with a man whose wife was being treated for cancer. That’s cold.
One wonders if Edwards really intended to end it with her:
People familiar with Ms. Hunter said she was planning to move soon to the Wilmington area, near where the Edwardses have a second home on an island with restricted access.
