Radio Rod did his weekly 12-2 WLS-AM radio show from New York. He spoke with anger about his good friend Christopher Kelly and then choked up at the end. When I have the time, I’ll try to put together all Kelly’s connections that go through Rezko, who was barry’s good bud. In fact, Rezko was to barry as Kelly was to blago and Rezko connected barry to blago.

The ever evolving story after a press conference that was the most unprofessional I have ever witnessed. The mayor ran the press conference while the poor female police chief was off to the side. I don’t even know her name. He didn’t introduce her, she answered one or two questions and her name was not in the articles.

According to Chicago Breaking News:

Autopsy results inconclusive – pending toxicology.

Kelly texted Flores that he wanted to kill himself.

When she arrived he was covered in vomit and had evidently vomited on the ground in the parking lot.

“Tylenol wrappers and a large container of pills were found”

Kelly was not exactly cooperative with the officer: “I know what you are trying to do. You are trying to trick me.”

The officer said Kelly did not admit to trying to kill himself.

Now that was at 0300. He was coherent and sitting up on a gurney. What could possibly happened to where he was dead 7 hours later? And what happened in those first 4 hours? And why was he transferred via private ambulance instead of EMS and what kind of treatment was going on en route?

MARCEL BRIGHT, STROGER HOSPITAL spokesman, in an e-mail. “The treatment or treatments necessary could be better facilitated at Stroger. He was stabilized before being transported.”

Yes, it’s absolutely clear he needed to go to a Level 1 ER but what about Christ Hospital? 45 minutes is a long transport, especially if he is not being treated.

No security cameras near parking lot.

Will be looking at Oak Forest security tapes to find the mystery gray-haired white male.

Here they said he tried to drive away in Kelly’s vehicle before police stopped him – and yet they didn’t get his name? And the police do not have the keys to the vehicle.  [A different report had the Escalade back in the parking lot - but Welch said it was towed from the hospital lot to the police station.]

Again Flores’ lawyer, Terry Gillespie, denied that his client is not cooperating with the police. I think she should sue Welch for broadcasting her personal information – the reporters all got a copy of it.

Gillespie said he and Flores are scheduled to meet with Country Club Hills police Monday morning.

Hospital records should be available as well.

Why should he apologize? He made a million bucks off the outburst. He’s not going to piss those folks off…at least till their payment clears. And then there’s the bonus when he gets sanctioned.

WILSON:

I believe he was misstating the facts.

Wilson said Wilson said he already apologized to barry and barry accepted it.

BARRY:

[Wilson] apologized quickly and unequivocally, and I’m appreciative of that.

That is enough. If barry wanted more he would have said so. Well that’s not his MO – he’d rather be the silent wimp and let his minions fight the fight for him.

WILSON:

The American people are fed up with the political games in Washington, and I refuse to participate in an effort to divert our attention away from the task at hand of reforming health insurance and creating new jobs.

WILSON:

Chris, I am a civil person. I believe in civility on the floor….

Wallace cuts him off. Has his own agenda…thinks Wilson should apologize…is frightened himself at having to be called out by a women in front of his colleagues,

WILSON:

I am not going to apologize again. I apologized to the president on Wednesday night. I was advised then, thank you, now let’s get on to the discussion of the issues.

I apologized one time. The apology was accepted by the president, by the vice-president, who I know. I am not apologizing again.

In fact, I have been proven correct in the issue of citizen verification.

In fact, the Senate adopted it on Friday. And on Friday night, the White House said they’re going to include it in their bill.

There goes any doubt that the WH was doing their own bill.

WALLACE:

Why not apologize to your House colleagues – they said you broke the rules?

He responds the same way about his apology and that it was accepted, that they know he is civil, that it was a one-time thing and that he did it out of frustration.

WILSON:

I believe in the truth. What I heard was not the truth.

WALLACE:

How are you going to feel when you stand in the well of the House and Speaker Pelosi disciplines you?

Wilson says they’re just playing politics. They replay the incident and Wallace asks him how he feels.

WILSON:

I have respect for the President. I have respect for the office of the President. I would never do that again….I knew what he said was not true. I read the bill – I read all 1000 pages.

WALLACE:

Do you believe the president was lying?

WILSON:

I believe he was misstating the facts.

So do the folks in the Public Policy Poll (link above) even though they said he shouldn’t have done it.

WILSON:

What he said was not accurate that’s why I am glad they’ve now agreed to citizenship verification

You won’t be able to get insurance without your birth certificate or a document based on a birth certificate but barry can run the country without showing his.

Then Wallace brings up mo dowdy the plagiarist’s column that what else? goes to race.

DOWD:

Wilson clearly did not like being lectured and even rebuked by the brainy black president president over the majestic chamber.

I’m getting really tired of the old standby — you’re a racist – something barry never says to stop.

And would Mr Bill Clinton have not said anything right in the moment?

WALLACE:

Is Mr Obama’s race a problem for you?

No his lying is. Wilson said he had respect for the Obama family.

WILSON:

I would never do this on purpose….I have been named the number one target in the election next years. I will not be muzzled. I am going to speaking on behalf of the American people, but I will be doing it very civilly.

Wallace goes back to the possibility of a Nanci bashing.

WILSON:

It’s going to be tough…I have apologized to the President – I believe that is sufficient.

Press conference re: Christopher Kelly’s death investigation. The mayor is giving it not the police chief who is standing off to the side and who he does not introduce. And he is an unprofessional jerk. Her face speaks volumes.

Country Club Hills Mayor DWIGHT WELCH:

We are treating this as a suicide death investigation but we’re also elevating it to the level – because of all the issues involved here – to a homicide investigation.

Working with Area 3 and Area 4 homicide investigators out of Chicago since last night as well as the FBI. Though they are the lead investigators.

We’re piecing things together as we go along. Quite frankly we’re not being given the whole truth. Flores has lawyered up, as we say in the trade.

Wouldn’t he if he was the last person seen alive with a key player in the Blago case? If not, he would be as demented as he is rude.

She’s hired a lawyer and is no longer speaking with police.

Not according to her lawyer. She’s more than willing to cooperate.

We found her wallet in the Escalade towed from the Oak Forest Hospital. And I’ll allow you folks to film that if you wish from the outside. It’s in our garage here.

He’s allowing them to film evidence that is part of a death investigation? They’re gonna go back there and tramp around and maybe even touch the vehicle the police don’t have the keys to?

Her wallet and her ID was [sic]  found, as well as some drugs. I won’t go into detail what those were because that is part of our evidence chain.

He holds up her license for everyone to see and gives her address out loud. And this takes the cake:

Who’s Hispanic? Can anyone say this name Hispanically?

I’m giving you all this because we are not getting cooperation. This was the woman who was at the hospital our officer identified as the person who identified herself as the girlfriend of Christopher Kelly.

I hope she sues his ass off. This is the most unprofessional thing I have ever witnessed. What if something is amiss? What if Kelly knew something and somebody goes after Flores to find out if he said anything? What if there was something in a storage unit and it wasn’t Kelly’s and they go after Flores to find out where it is?

And Kelly admitted it was a suicide attempt and even Welch says it was a suicide attempt – so why the need to go after Flores? This is wrong.

We’re treating it like a homicide case because it’s a high profile case.

Then why didn’t they do an autopsy on John Ruff who drove his car into a tree for no reason?

Said it involved pain medicine – but he also mentioned Aleve.

We’re doing a death/suicide investigation…based on what the victim said to the officer at the hospital, we’re fairly certain of that [that it was suicide].

He mentioned that the white male with gray hair was familiar with the federal case against Blagojevich. Asked if it was Michael Monico – Kelly’s lawyer – he said he couldn’t comment.

Foot fault? You cannot be serious!

How does anyone call a foot fault at that point in the match?

Honestly. And I have yet to see a definitive video from the side that shows whether she faulted or not.

What Serena Williams did next was absolutely inexcusable. The first time maybe, but going back the second time sealed her fate. The worst part was Kim Clijsters, who had played fantastically well, had to out up with that ending to the match. Have to give Williams credit for going over and congratulating Clijsters. But Clijsters should have been able to celebrate right there with the crowd.

Ugly scene all around. Shame the crowd booed her so bad as she walked off. Booing while it was happening is one thing but Williams doesn’t have a history of doing that and she is the defending champion but that’s NY.

She says she had been called for foot faults in the tournament. I don’t know if she had been called for it in this match. She took responsibility though:

In this tournament they keep calling foot faults on me. I’m not saying I don’t but like I don’t know. I’m not going to sit here and make excuses – if I foot faulted – I did. It was what it was.

Do you think the lineswoman felt threatend?

I have never been in a fight my whole life, so I don’t know why she would feel threatened.

She explains how she has been more positive on the court lately and that it was a really tough match for her. She also wasn’t really aware of the consequences – that if she got another violation the match would be over.

Does it taint the match?

No Kim played very well, that she had a good plan and that the next time she plays her she’ll have a better idea of what to do.

Do you regret losing your temper after the first set (she had smashed her racket on the ground, mangling it and then banged it into the net post) and after the foot fault?

She said she hadn’t thought about it enough to have regrets.

I don’t try to live my live with I wish, I wish. I was out there, I fought, I tried and did my best.

Then some guy asked her if the conditions caused her to lose her temper – the rain delay and uncertainty of when her match would be played.

What? That is like the craziest question I’ve ever heard. The weather make you lose your temper? Usually if it’s hot, you lose your temper. Not when it’s cold!

Then she got the tough question: What did she say?

I don’t think that’s necessary. I’ve let it go and I’m trying to move on.

She said she misunderstood what the lineswoman had said. Serena thought the lineswoman had said that Serena said “I’m gonna kill you”. I think the lineswoman might have been afraid with the threatening stance Serena had going towards her after Serena said she was going to shove the effin ball down her effin throat.

Why wasn’t there an official’s timeout?

Why didn’t the chair umpire say Serena – chill out let me talk to the lineswoman?

Again, Serena used the f-word more than once but she is not known for that and it was the semi-finals of the US Open.

Have to give major props to Serena for going into that press conference with her head up, looking them in the eye and answering their questions.

KIM CLIJSTERS:

The normal feelings of winning a match weren’t quite there. But I think afterwards, when everything kind of sunk in a little bit and got explained to me about what happened, yeah, you kind of have to put it all in place, and then it becomes a little bit easier to understand and to kind of not celebrate, but at least have a little bit of joy after a match like that.

I mean, the timing is unfortunate, you know. To get a point penalty at the time, it’s unfortunate. But there are rules, and you know, like I said, it’s just unfortunate that it has to happen on a match point.

This is getting bizarre. I still have yet to see the press conference – I’m looking for the video.

This is from Chicago Breaking News after the press conference.

The parking lot Kelly was in has a storage area behind it evidently – boats, cars, landscaping trucks – so they believe it’s possible he was looking to retrieve something.

Kelly and his girlfriend, who goes by Clarissa Flores exchanged text messages prior to her driving him to the hospital.

Police were called to the hospital at 0258. In the waiting room were Flores and an unidentified “white male with gray hair” who wanted the keys to Kelly’s Escalade. Flores gave an initial statement to the police.

Kelly was alert enough at that time to tell the police he had surgery to the genital region – would explain the shifting on his feet and sweating at his court hearing.

Inside the Escalade was Flores’ wallet and identification – apparently at the press conference the Mayor of Country Club Hills Dwight Welch “made a point of displaying her driver’s license to reporters, even spelling out her name, giving her address and showing her date of birth.” If true, that is about as unprofessional as it gets.

Police also found “drugs” including prescription medication in the vehicle. It’s quite possible it could have been an accidental overdose if he took too much prescribed medication in conjunction with OTC medication.

WELCH said at the press conference:

Flores has lawyered up, she’s hired an attorney and is no longer speaking to the police.

“Lawyered up” sounds like a cheap movie. Fact is she was cooperative at the ER and has since gotten a lawyer, like any sane person would. Her lawyer Terry Gillespie was irate that the mayor revealed her full name, DOB and address. Hard to believe he actually did that. Why was the mayor in possession of it and not the police?

Gillespie said he called the Country Club Hills and Chicago police but they were “too busy having press conferences.”

GILLESPIE:

It’s unconscionable grandstanding, is what it is. Ms. Flores told them last night that she would be glad to talk to them. She has absolutely nothing to hide. The fact that she asked to have a lawyer present does not mean she is in any fashion not willing to cooperate with them.

And the mayor gave reporters everything they need to camp out on her lawn and terrorize her when she just lost a man who she must have clearly been close to. Vultures.

It appears that Mr Kelly’s behavior was different than usual in court. He was sweating, shifting on  his feet and was speaking so softly, the judge asked him to speak up.

Judge: “Is there some reason you’re whispering?”

In the hall after the hearing was over, Kelly said: “I know my life is over.”

His sentence from the two plea deals was approx 8 years in federal prison, which has no parole.

He also said “Rod Blagojevich is a good person” and that he didn’t deserve what was happening to him. He and Milorad go way back – both self-made men from scrappy neighborhoods. Kelly’s main downfall was his gambling.

Kelly said he was mindful about his next life. “That’s why you stay true to who you are,” he said. “I’ve never changed that. Never.”

An awfully eerie comment.

Country Club Hills Mayor DWIGHT WELCH:

We are treating this as a death investigation — it’s a possible homicide or suicide, but it’s a high-profile case so we have a homicide level investigation.

TIMELINE:

September 11: Was parked in his Cadillac Escalade in the Forest Lumber parking lot near his Markham office when he began vomiting. Evidently his girlfriend Clarissa Flores Buhelos (Kelly’s estranged from his wife) drove him to a nearby hospital.

2100-2200 Possible ingestion of drugs.

2315 They arrive at Oak Forest Hospital and was treated and stabilized (for 5 hours?) in preparation for his transfer to Stroger Hospital (Cook County Hospital).

0258 Police called to hospital. Kelly was alert and coherent enough to be able to speak with police.

0415 Left Oak Forest Hospital.

0500 Arrived at Stroger via private ambulance. Hard to believe they transferred someone that ill via private ambulance and not paramedics. It was approx a 25 mile transport.

1046 Pronounced dead 11.5 hours after initial presentation at the first ER. That’s a long time to receive treatment. Plus he had vomited at the scene so he had gotten rid of some of what he ingested. What did Oak Forest do for 5 hours? Did they not start treatment for acute salicylate and/or acetaminophen ingestion? Perhaps ibuprofen/naprosyn or other NSAIDS were involved as well, which not much can be done. Just doesn’t make sense medically.

Authorities are treating it as a possible homicide or suicide.

He must have been alert enough to call his girlfriend and then physically able to get into her vehicle – unless she was already in the parking lot at the time and he was already in her vehicle.

Evidently he texted her and she arrived via unknown means and then pushed him to the passenger side and drove to the hospital.

They just finished a press conference. Autopsy was performed at 0800 – no results released.

I am deeply saddened to hear that Chris has died.  My heart goes out to his wife Carmen, his three daughters Grace, Jacqueline and Claire and his entire family.  They are in our prayers.

Last week Blagojevich had said:

All I can say about Chris is that I feel awful for his family. It’s a very hard thing that has happened to his family, to his wife, to his children and to him.

Christopher Kelly, the long time pal, fundraiser and potential government witness against Rod Blagojevich is dead. No word yet on the cause – but he was due to surrender this coming Friday to serve his prison sentence. In case you’re wondering – Blago is in NYC.

Kelly-Rezko-Blago were tight as were Kelly-Rezko-Daley and blago-Rezko-barry and Emanuel-Rezko-Blago-barry.

How much of Patrick Fitzgerald was going to rely on Kelly? And is Rezko still in protective custody?

I don’t know if blago went after Kelly in his book.

Tragic. Very tragic as Kelly has three young children.

Last week, a day before his scheduled trial was to begin, Kelly pled guilty to two counts of mail fraud re: his attempt to get a $8.5M contract at O’Hare for his roofing business. The plea agreement did not have any stipulation that he testify against blago. Kelly was already facing 3 years in prison from a plea deal in June. His sentence was to be extended another 5 and he was due to surrender next Friday 18th. He also agreed to forfeit the $450K he had pocketed.

According to Chicago Breaking News, Kelly died of salicylate intoxication aka aspirin overdose – not a determination by the coroner.

Autopsy scheduled for tomorrow.

Kelly’s attorney, Michael Monico, has declined to comment.

Very entertaining – funny stories about Tex Winter, Jerry Kraus, Doug Collins and Bryon Russell. His mother is absolutely beautiful and seems never to age. MJ looks alot like his dad now. And Coach Dean Smith looks like he’s sick. Doug Collins, Charles Barkley, Charles Oakley, Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr, Dennis Rodman and Toni Kukoj (who looks like a professor) among others present.

Also inducted were David Robinson, John Stockton (probably the dirtiest player never called out), ex-Bull Coach Jerry Sloan and Women’s BBall legend  Rutgers Coach C. Vivian Springer. Great she got inducted at the same time as MJ so people know who she is.

Reading a newspaper, I saw a picture of birds on the electric wires. I cut out the photo and decided to make a song, using the exact location of the birds as notes (no Photoshop edit). I knew it wasn’t the most original idea in the universe. I was just curious to hear what melody the birds were creating.

I sent the music to the photographer, Paulo Pinto, who I Googled on the internet. He told his editor, who told a reporter and the story ended up as an interview in the very same newspaper.

C’mon, Coast Guard training exercise?

Get the sense that the president doesn’t know much when it comes to 9-11?

First Air Force 1 doing a dive bomb on New York and New Jersey, triggering a stampede of frightened (for good reason) citizens. Recall that the president knew nothing. The WH knew nothing. And the FAA knew but didn’t tell anyone. And some guy got fired because he and he alone arranged a fly over of AF1 for publicity photos?

That still smells.

Now, today, barry’s at the Pentagon laying a wreath and just as he goes over the bridge there’s a “training exercise” involving an unknown boat and the Coast Guard that the Coast Guard just happened not to tell anyone about because it’s so routine?

Nothing is routine on 9-11 and certainly not at a crucial security point such as a bridge.

Are we supposed to be idiots?

It’s just like H1N1 just happening to break out at the exact place barry was. Exact as in the guy who shook his hand, gave him a tour and was his host – who got sick within 12 hours and perished days later. Seems I never posted that. Will have to find it.

VICE ADMIRAL JOHN CURRIER:

Our people have to train. They have to do it, uh, on a routine and normal basis. We coordinate our training with the other federal agencies. We have very, very well-developed [closes eyes] developed protocols for protection of the national capital region. This being a normal [pause-looks down-blink-blink-nostril flare] training exercise, pre-planned [looks down, swallows], the coordination was minimal with other federal [blinks-looks down] agencies. I want to re-emphasize that no shots were fired. There was no suspect vessel. There was no criminal activity. This was a pre-planned [nods - did it], normal training exercise.

What are they training for?

To protect barry, right?

So if that’s what they plan for – then they have to know when and where barry is going on a daily basis or else how can they be ready?

And if they didn’t know where barry was – then they are totally incompetent.

Why schedule a training exercise at the very moment when what they are training for is transpiring?

Why train at all when they’re not doing what they train for at the exact moment they are needed to carry out what they plan for?

VICE ADM CURRIER:

We have very, very well-developed protocols for protection of the national capitol region.

Doesn’t that include barry?

And isn’t part of that very, very well-developed protocol protecting the POTUS?

Shutting down water traffic when the POTUS is anywhere near the water?

They can’t possibly expect us to believe this.

VICE ADM CURRIER:

This being a normal training exercise, pre-planned , the coordination was minimal with other federal agencies.

If there is minimal coordination with other federal agencies then why do they exist?

If they’re not cooperating on 9-11 what days are they?

They want us to believe that the police and fire departments, EMT and other first responders, hospitals/ERs and military personnel in the area weren’t made known where barry was going to be on 9-11?

BS.

Problem being – Vice Adm Currier is very good.

He sounds like he had it memorized.

He makes sure to keep his voice even.

His face is already ruddy and his eyes barely visible under a muscular brow ridge and thick lids.

He is solidly built and holds his body very still.

He makes sure to look side to side to appear normal, which allows little tics go unnoticed or suppressed.

There are very minimal tells. The pause after normal was obvious the first time but it took many many views to see the others.

All I saw was the statement – not the reporter’s questions – if there were any, which would have been much more fruitful.

Fran Townsend “felony stupidity” same thing she said about AF1 doing a flyby on NY.

CNN’s JEANNE MESERVE:

We could see on a camera a boat coming up the Potomac River and challenging the Coast Guard security zone. The Coast Guard tried repeatedly to head them off. They tried to circumvent the Coast Guard. They were not paying any attention to orders to stop.

I’ve listened to some of the radio traffic myuself and I  heard a Coast Guardsman say, “Ten rounds have been expended -we’re assessing the situation.

They said nothing about an exercise in their radio traffic.

Operation centers  in the areas had not been informed that any exercise was taking place. When they heard these reports, they started drawing up contingency plans for what they were going to do about this situation. But they did get clarification in fairly short order that this was a training exercise.

MSNBC’s Pete Williams said there was no boat – it was just a radio call that a citizen had overheard.

So what was Meserve seeing?

And isn’t a member of the Secret Service in contact – as in live – with each of the other agencies providing security so their can be an instantaneous extrication?

Well, it doesn’t look like Chicago is getting the Olympics.  barry is not going – his wife is. Yes, she’s a native Chicagoan but it’s not the same. The wording of the WH press release leaves open the possibility – like always – but no way he’s going. And there’s no way they’re going to award the Olympic’s to the First Lady with the other 4 heads of state of the prospective countries there.

WH STATEMENT

The White House announced today that First Lady Michelle Obama will travel to Copenhagen, Denmark, in support of Chicago’s historic bid for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. On October 2, 2009, Mrs. Obama will attend the 121st International Olympic Committee Session at the Bella Center – Copenhagen Congress Center. It is here that the host of the 2016 Summer Olympics will be selected from the remaining four candidate cities: Chicago, Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. [Note that all 4 other heads of state will be there] President Obama informed IOC President Count Jacques Rogge today that the fight to pass health insurance reform keeps him from committing at this time to travel to Copenhagen on October 2, but he will continue to work to support Chicago’s bid along with the First Lady and Valerie Jarrett, senior advisor to the President, who will accompany the First Lady to Copenhagen.

“One of the great honors I have as First Lady is to represent America around the world and it is with great pride that I will go to Copenhagen to make the case for the United States to host the 2016 Olympics,” said Mrs. Obama. “There is no doubt in my mind that Chicago would offer the world a fantastic setting for these historic games and I hope that the Olympic torch will have the chance to burn brightly in my hometown.”

Mrs. Obama was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, not far from the suggested locations for the Games.  In her role as First Lady, Mrs. Obama has been committed to bridging the gap between the White House and underserved communities around DC and across the country – opening the doors of the White House and bringing new opportunities to young people.  Visiting Copenhagen is an opportunity for the First Lady to carry this commitment to the international stage.

The President and First Lady will be hosting an event with the White House Office of Olympic, Paralympic and Youth Sport and Chicago 2016 on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 to help promote Chicago’s bid for the Olympics, as well as helping promote our commitment to healthy living and youth sport.  There will be Olympic athletes and Paralympic athletes in attendance as well.  This event will help highlight the Obama administration’s commitment to giving our nation’s children every possible tool they need to grow, learn and succeed in life.  A key part of this is increasing access to healthy, constructive activities like sports for our nation’s children.  The Olympic athletes will be visiting local schools in the morning and then joining the President and First Lady at the White House in the afternoon.  More details will be released in the coming days.

Cubfans were graced with the presence of ADMIRAL TIMOTHY J KEATING today to remember and honor those injured, fallen and forever changed on September 11, 2001 by (15) Saudi, (2) United Arab Emirates, (1) Egyptian and (1) Lebanese murderers.

Adm Keating, 59, was in the Pentagon when it was hit on 9-11. He lost 24 men and women and said the Army lost more. He lived in Bahrain and participated in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom and now lives in Hawaii with his wife.

His AWARDS include the Defense Distinguished Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Distinguished Service Medal with Gold Star, Legion of Merit with three Gold Stars, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with Gold Star, three Air Medals, Navy Commendation Medal with two Gold Stars and Combat “V” and various unit and campaign awards.

Total of 28 medals, including the Navy Expert Pistol Shot Medal.

And, by the way, he’s the current Commander of the Pacific Command.

Only the President of the United States, who is Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and the Secretary of Defense advised by the Joint Chiefs of Staff have greater authority.

Working out of barry’s alleged hometown – Honolulu, Adm Keating directs all US Military Operations in the Asia-Pacific region which comprises half the earth’s surface from the western coast of the US to the western edge of India – North to South pole.

Imagine what the good Adm knows about world affairs. As the saying goes, he probably has forgotten more than barry will ever know and he must know the truth about barry. I truly wonder what real patriots like Adm Keating think and feel inside their heart.

I’m always amazed by the bravest of the brave’s humility.

ADM KEATING:

325,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guard and it’s a great privilege to be here representing them all today.

Best job in the world and I get to work with a whole lot of real good men and women.

Nobody’s had more fun than I have in the 42 years I’ve been able to wear the cloth of our nation.

There have been a  couple of days like eleven of September 2001 that were tougher than others, but it’s been a great thrill.

The Adm threw out the first pitch – a perfect strike with some speed on it. No stiffness at all in the shoulders – good motion. I still wish I could have seen Gen Dunwoody’s first pitch.

Adm Keating chatted with Pat & Ron and said the Cubs are his second favorite team – the opposing team Cincinnati Reds, his favorite. He grew up in Dayton Ohio. He remarked how nervous he was about singing – mentioning he knew the words – Pat & Ron said if he forgets just let the crowd sing. The Adm then made a point of thanking Ronnie especially mentioning what a pleasure it was meeting him and that he also played 3rd. Explains the pitch.

ADM:

I’ve got 1200 arrested landings on carriers, and those can be a little bit invigorating, but this was real pressure.

Invigorating? Pressure? He is an exceptional man. Thank you, Adm Keating.

How’d he do singing?

Awesome. Crowd loved him and he actually sings very well. Said “Cubbies” not “Reds” and then tossed his cap to the crowd when he was finished. The Irish Adm used the microphone like a priest would blessing the casket. Will see if I can find the video.

Then he spent the 7th & 8th innings with Len & Bob. He chuckled when he saw a replay of himself throwing out the first pitch.

ADM:

This is a pretty good view from up here.

Len asked if he was retiring soon.

ADM:

I’m on the waiver wire. (They all laughed) I’m looking for work and I’ve got a lot of eligibility left. If you saw that first pitch you’d know that throwing the ball is not where I’m headed. We’ll be done in October with time and service.

Does that mean forced retirement? Certainly they can’t let someone with the Adm’s knowledge and experience just go away. He didn’t sound like he was all that enthused to be retiring and clearly still loves his job.

He also loves baseball…with the technology they can get games in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Bob, whose dad was in the Navy, asked if baseball is still part of the down time?

ADM:

It’s a big deal – essential element for rest and recreating for our kids – and the old guys too.

Friday afternoon at Wrigley Field – what a thrill.

Len asked him if there was anyone who helped him get started in his career that he’d like to thank.

ADM:

They’re not with us anymore. But mom and dad. I was first of five kids…I had absolutely the best upbringing that a young woman or man could have and to be sitting here with you guys today is a direct reflection of the upbringing I had.

LEN: Thank you for everything you’ve done for this country.

ADM: Thanks. It’s a great privilege.

BOB: We get a lot of guests up here, but I don’t think they get any bigger than Admiral Keating.

Seems Rep Joe Wilson (R-SC) isn’t about to be silenced any time soon. His opponent, Rob Miller, raised $750K after Wilson’s “You lie!” outburst. Wilson’s fighting back with this video and cash call at his website. Full statement.

I personally don’t believe this to be true because I have not found any corroborative evidence and I can’t access the California court docket. There’s nothing on Orly Taitz’s site or the SD Minutemen site or OC Register – so take it or leave it.

Allegedly, Judge Carter granted Taitz expedited discovery – immediately.

What could have happened in the interim that changed his mind?

I don’t have time to go exploring to see what else has come up – I’m working on something else right now. It’s Friday – nothing’s going to happen anyway.

This is barry’s defense team’s motion to dismiss. It is very familiar but has a few twists. First off it follows the old mantra: bury them with paper…55 pages worth. Second: make it look good – which, let’s face it – next to Orly Taitz’s filings is not difficult to do.

It amazes me with all the general support, volunteers and lawyerly advice that she can’t hire one eagle-eyed paralegal who can write/type the motions in her – yes, her – sleep. And why she can’t hire some fresh-faced kid out of law school who understands the basic rules of court filings and a veteran process server to handle the subpoenas.

Forget the people setting up TV/Radio/internet interviews. That needs to stop. This is serious business now and Judge Carter deserves the respect of proper filings and court etiquette. She also needs another lawyer on the case to mediate between her and Kreep – as in physically – and who can put a little shock collar on her wrist to zap when she starts off on her tangents and/or bullies the judge.

Anyway. Third is use the latest/last court judgments to make their case. There are plenty – though the best decision still remains Judge Surrick’s out of Philly who heard Phil Berg’s original – the first of all – case. He said no citizen has standing and that only Congress could do something about it but it would require a new law. He also stated that barry was “excessively vetted” but didn’t go so far as Judge Robertson’s”raised, vetted, blogged, texted, twittered and massaged” rant.

Nobody reads this shit and I’m tired of explaining it so read the scribd if you’re interested.

COMMANDER GRIMES:

War, as all veterans know, is a serious business.

The job of a member of the Armed Forces is ominous.

All members of the US Military – active, reserve, retired and National Guard, all those who are eligible to be activated, deployed, or recalled, deserve to know that the person who is sending them into harm’s way is eligible to be Commander in Chief and therefore can give a lawful order.

Following an unlawful order makes us subject to UCMJ and may even invalidate the protections of the Geneva Convention if captured in battle.

Beyond that all Americans deserve to know the truth.

Final question – very simple question:

Suppose you were applying for a government job and I was your potential employer and I asked you for a copy of your long form birth certificate would you spend $10 and show it to me or spend a million dollars and hide it from me?

Mr Wagener partially recites the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere as sound check.

Lucas Smith then reads the affidavit that he signed that was entered into the court.

Then he holds up what I presume is the original copy of the Kenyan Birth Certificate in a laminated jacket or plastic covering. See here for a copy and here for an enhanced video of it. The one he is holding very clearly shows a real embossed seal.

Wagener reads the information and then says:

That’s the Kenyan birth certificate of Barack Hussein Obama, who would then would apparently be the usurper President of the United States holding office in the White House right now.
