Was looking for more recent pix of jumbo 19 lb 2oz Akbar and ran across these. They’re right after birth but they’re ones I haven’t seen before, including one of his mother, so I thought I’d post them. I can’t find any updated ones.

He looks like a giant doll. Hard to believe he can’t sit up.
The other standard size babies look sickly in comparison.
Mom Ani is not a large woman. It’s hard to believe she initially thought she could have him at home via a midwife. She was carrying the equivalent of a 1 year-old child inside – imagine his kicks.
