I had no idea this was going on.
Coming to a ballpark near you is a 137-room Hyatt, 135 residential units, 147K square feet of retail space and 403-slot underground parking garage. Only the ballpark is Wrigley.
How are Wrigleyville residents letting this happen? How are they going to get around? With a hotel it is going to be loud all night – especially with night games.
At least the height of the buildings will below Wrigley’s roofline. And maybe they could have off-season tours of Wrigley to generate some income. If this means they don’t touch Wrigley itself – then fine. I don’t know if M & R Development is associated with the Ricketts’ family.
Alderman Tom Tunney still has to sign off on it. Imagine how many little white envelopes bulging with green stuff have found their way into his drawers…

Hello. I work with the M&R Development and would be happy to answer your questions on the project. Shoot me an email and I would be happy to chat. To answer one of your questions left unanswered, the project is not affiliated with the Cubs in any way.
