Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington‘s (CREW) annual list of the 15 Most Corrupt Members of Congress. Starring two barry senate seat candidates: Jesse Jackson, Jr, whose investigation has been “delayed” and Sen Roland Burris, who is going to stick it to barry and the rest of the Democrats on the healthcare bill.
All’s well that ends well. Without Mr Burris, there would be no barry. And without Jesse Sr there would most definitely not be Jesse Jr.
But CREW is pushing for the Senate Ethics Committee to keep investigating Sen Burris “so that Illinois residents can get answers about what happened”. There is not a single Illinois resident who doesn’t know what happened and he was cleared by the Illinois Special Committee.
Mr Burris’ final trail has been blazed and there will be no more political achievements chiseled into his nifty Mausoleum.
For the record per First Amendment:
Burris went through his lawyer (like he said on tape he could do for blago) and bought his senate seat from barry for $50K.
That’s what Ms Sloan should be looking into.
