Updated H1N1 posts/symptoms/vaccine

The Japanese have found a unique weapon in the war on H1N1…the anti-H1N1 suit.

No kidding.

A menswear company - Haruyama Trading - sells a suit coated with titanium dioxide that breaks down in sunlight, taking the virus with it. They boast a 40% kill rate within three hours (surely enough time to wash ones hands), which it retains even after several washings.

Evidently the suit was developed in a joint research effort focused on anti-bacterial and deodorising coatings and is said to resemble regular suits. 4 colors, 4 styles, $590. Not sure if the price is comparable.

I wonder if they thought about including some coated handkerchiefs and ties.

Curious to see if they will be following their customers to see if they get the virus.
