Fr Weslin before
No. I don’t know the status of Fr Weslin’s Notre Dame trespassing charge.
But it appears he was a free man up until yesterday afternoon when he was arrested for tearing up pages of the health care bill because it allegedly allows for payment of abortions.
He was reportedly charged with unlawful entry into the Congressional office and the folks in the hall were charged with disorderly conduct.
The only “crime” I saw witnessed was littering, and depending on what was said to the protesters, loitering.
Fr Weslin, 78 y/o Catholic priest was dragged, manhandled and hauled off like a Saturday night drunk.
This is outside Room 235 in the Cannon House Office Building – the office related to Pelosi’s home district. No way they could have gotten into the Capitol Building.
Fr’s arms have been broken before.
20-year Army veteran was left sitting on the ground iwith no regard to his habit.
12 people were arrested.
Fr Weslin is still incarcerated, along with 4 others.
Hearing to be held today (Friday) at 2 pm.
