barry refuses to go to Berlin for the 20 year anniversary of the Wall being torn down. He initially agreed to be there but backed out.

His excuse?

GIBBS: Obviously, we have a lot to work on here, and we have commitments for an upcoming Asia trip.

Did the anniversary change dates?

Did he make the arrangements to go to Asia 20 years ago?

So why isn’t he going?

Multiple choice:

a) He wouldn’t be the star attraction.

b) He realized that of the 57 states, Germany is not one of the swing states.

c) It represents the fall of Communism – why would he be interested in celebrating?

d) Payback for Chancellor Merkel refusing to let him speak there during his tour of the cosmos.

e) Wouldn’t have anything to apologize for America about.

f) Would be compared to two great Presidents Reagan & JFK.

g) He’d have to explain why he got the Peace Prize and President Reagan didn’t.

h) Germany really wanted a statesman who understands history and the world in terms of reality, so they requested Madame Secretary Hillary Clinton.

Recall barry’s stump to a crowd of drunk Germans, swarming with barry operatives:

…a wall came down, a continent came together, and history proved that there is no challenge too great for a world that stands as one.

Words? Who says words don’t matter?

barry. And his don’t.
