JAKE TAPPER:
Philosophically, what separates an act of violence from an act of terrorism.
BARRY:
Well, look, we — we have seen, in the past, rampages of this sort. And in a country of 300 million people, there are going to be acts of violence that are inexplicable. Even within the extraordinary military that we have — and I think everybody understands how outstanding the young men and women in uniform are under the most severe stress — there are going to be instances in which an individual cracks.
I think the questions that we’re asking now and we don’t have yet complete answers to is, is this an individual who’s acting in this way or is it some larger set of actors? You know, what are the motivations? Those are all questions that I think we have to ask ourselves.
Until we have these answers buttoned down, I’d rather not comment on it.
We have not seen “rampages of this sort” done by someone born in the US on a US military base.
This act of violence was NOT “inexplicable”.
He is just like any other muslim murderer who kills out of blind hate.

Yes, there are. But this muslim murderer DID NOT CRACK. He chose to kill because he was too much of a coward to go into a battle zone. He was afraid for his own life. He was afraid Iraqi Muslims would find him and kill him for being a “traitor”.
It was a pre-meditated attack on unarmed persons in the name of islam. It was just as much a terrorist act as was September 11. And no matter what the media tries to say or spin or whatever – it was an act of domestic terrorism.
barry, you’re already on thin ice. You don’t stop this crap, some politician is going to get fed up and go quo warranto on you.
