Muslim coward has been “charged with 13 specifications of premeditated murder under Article 118 on the Uniform Code of Military Justice.”
Additional charges possible.
The preferral of charges is the first step in the court-martial process.
Our investigation remains open and ongoing.
Let me assure the American Public: we are doing everything possible and we are looking for every reason for this shooting. We are aggressively following every possible lead.
He does have legal representation.
Soldier can have civilian counsel at no cost to the government and/or he can have detailed military counsel at no cost to the soldier.
Murderer is “under pretrial restriction while receiving medical care”.
Believe only one shooter – no reason for the murderer to be there.
Sharing info with all investigatory agencies.
Autopsies completed.
Two officers arrived at the scene and engaged the coward.
Massive crime scene: includes inside the medical readiness center and outside two large parking areas and 4 adjacent buildings.
Some of those shot have not been able to speak with investigators.
In speaking for this Joint Multi-Agency Task Force – I can assure you that we remains steadfast and committed to doing what has to be done and bring anyone and everyone responsible for this crime to justice.
