$300M bought Sen Mary Landrieu‘s (D-LA) preliminary healthcare vote and uninterrupted Medicaid payments for Louisiana. Since per capita income spiked after Katrina, the medicaid payments, which are based on per capita income, would be going down in 2011. Landrieu fought to make sure they wouldn’t.

If you think this is a new development, ask yourself why barry went to Louisiana for a completely orchestrated healthcare townhall (nothing to do with Katrina).

Sen Landrieu needs to learn the Chicago way – keeping her mouth shut.

You asked what Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas will ask for. Well, after watching Louisiana get $100 million in what have some have called “The Louisiana Purchase,” she ought to ask for $250 million at least.

And that’s because Obama said he would end business as usual in Washington.

I think that Steve is right. There is almost no way imaginable that the vote will fail tomorrow. If it is, it is the ultimate humiliation. It’s the rejection of the debate even before it starts.
