Susan Boyle posts/videos/interviews
Susan Boyle on The Early Show yesterday (27th). Harry Smith tries to interview Ms Boyle but again she is subdued like she was on Monday at Rockefeller Plaza. It doesn’t help that he is looking down his nose at her like Charlie Gibson did to Sarah Palin. One wonders if they even have a clue. His voice, however, is quite lovely. I wonder what he sounds like when he’s angry or yelling.
HARRY SMITH: This is a treat for me…Are you feeling like you’re living your dream, now?
SUSAN BOYLE: I’m feeling as if I don’t want my dream to end.
HARRY SMITH: Well this album has gotten off to an amazing start. It’s #1 in the UK – it must be so gratifying to know that so many people are in love with your music. Is it gratifying?
[134,000 copies sold in the UK the first day.]
SUSAN BOYLE: It’s quite humbling, really.
HARRY SMITH: The truth is they love you and they love your voice and we are just so tickled you decided to spend some a little time with us this morning.
SUSAN BOYLE: Thank you for having me.
Here’s her haunting rendition of I Dreamed a Dream. Very different than her Today Show performances (and momentary breakdown) four days previous. Today Show interview and Live Performances: I Dreamed a Dream & Wild Horses & Cry Me a River. Looks like she travels with the same orchestra at least.
