The crashers were interviewed on Today by Matt Lauer. Their words did not match their body language. Before they came on Savannah Guthrie reported that they were escorted out of the Sept 26th Congressional Black Caucus fundraiser. Crashers said they were guests of their lawyer’s (Paul W Gardner) firm. Also discovered was a connection between the crashers and the Pentagon liaison to the WH, Michele S Jones.
Matt is a terrible interviewer. Never pushing them on anything because he wants to do the follow up interview.
He never asked: Only 300 people were invited – what made you think you belonged there?
Just imagine if you were truly invited and all this negative information came out about you – would this be the way you would act?
They say they are devastated – do they appear so to you?
They’ve got a new video embed that leaves a lot of white space

Matt asked if NBC is paying them in any way. They say no – but they were working with BRAVO, which has the same parent company.
WIFE: No. At no time, Matt, have we ever talked about doing that with anyone.
MATT: What did you think when you saw the headline party crashers?
WIFE: Devastated, shocked.
HUSBAND: Very saddened to see that.
MATT: Why?
WIFE: We know the facts, with time, our side of the story and everything will be heard. And right now it’s just been unbearable to go through.
MATT: Do you feel as if you’ve been mischaracterized in the media?
HUSBAND: No question. Unfortunately, we’ve been mischaracterized through the media and other paparrazi forums. OUR HOMES HAVE BEEN INVADED. It’s been devastating what’s happened to Michaela and I, our friends, our colleagues, business partners.
WIFE: Our lives have been destroyed.
HUSBAND: Our lives have really been destroyed.
WIFE: Everything we’ve worked for, Matt. Uhm, for me, 44 years, just destroyed.
MATT: Were you, or were you not, invited to attend that State Dinner?
WIFE: Well, we were invited – not crashers. And there isn’t anyone that would have the audacity or the poor behavior to do that. The White House is the most – it is the House and no one would do that. And certainly not us.
MATT: Who invited you?
HUSBAND: We’re working closely with the Secret Service and their internal investigation.
WIFE: Respect everything they do.
HUSBAND: We’re respecting their timeline. And we’re working on their timeline.
WIFE: What they need to do.
HUSBAND: We want to get through that process. We’ve been very candid with them We’ve turned over documentation to them and we’ll continue to work with the US Secret Service completely all the way through this process.
MATT reads Michele S Jones’ statement.
HUSBAND: What we’re going to do – we’re going to definitely work with the Secret Service and between Michaela and I on this to really shed light on this and we’re going to be coming up to NY sitting on your couch to show you from documentation from emails that you’ll get a chance to see.
MATT: Are the emails unequivocal or are they open to interpretation?
HUSBAND: In our view [his voice goes up] it’s clear to us and based on the timeline, I think the American public is actually going to be extremely surprised with all the details that went from beginning to end into what was supposed to be a beautiful memory.
WIFE: Lifetime memory
HUSBAND: Lifetime memory. So, we’re prepared to be coming up there hopefully very soon.
MATT asks about the report of them crashing the Congressional Black Caucus fundraiser in September and having to be escorted out.
HUSBAND: Yes, we were invited. This is the first time I’ve heard another false accusation against my wife and I saying that we weren’t invited there. We were invited there by the Gardner law group. We were guests of theirs – proud guests of theirs. No. Were we escorted out? Of course not. That’s another gossip rumor just unfortunately how this story got started through a gossip column.
MATT: Based on your meetings yesterday with the Secret Service, do you feel as if you will be prosecuted or do you think you will be completely exonerated in this situation?
HUSBAND: I’m certain we’re going to be completely exonerated.
MATT: When do you think will be able to come up here and share details of the rest of this story?
WIFE: Just hope and wait.
HUSBAND: Michaela and I hope to do that in the very near term. We hope within the next several days.
MATT: We look forward to having you.
WIFE: Whatever time they need. Thank you Matt.
HUSBAND: We’re definitely going to be working with the Secret Service timetable on that. But we are looking forward to coming up to see you.

If the Social Secretary, Desiree Rogers and some of FLOTUS’ other 24 staff members had manned the checkpoints this never would have happened — no matter what the SS did or didn’t do.
