“New” guidelines for WH events
Surprise. The East Wing is as transparent and forthcoming as the West.
Per Robert Gibbs, DESIREE ROGERS – guilty in chief – will not be testifying before House Homeland Security Committee. He basically said it on Monday, when he wouldn’t even acknowledge that Rogers and the rest of FLOTUS’ staff mishandled things.
FLOTUS’ staff, twice – two separate women – were told of the crashers by a reputable reporter and even though the women acknowledged that the crashers weren’t on the list, they did nothing about it.
Nothing. No concern. No follow up. No nothing.
And where has Ms Rogers been hiding?
Why hasn’t she come forward and at least apologized to the nation?
And why is testifying before Congress – Homeland Security no less – a volunteer matter?
Two intruders got into the WH and mingled up close and personal with a lot of people, including the President, VP, WH Chief of Staff and the PM of India and his wife.
Why is the woman responsible for the party and the partygoers given the option to explain?
And why doesn’t she want to make sure it never happens again?
Because barry and his minions are never wrong about anything = barry’s idea of change.
I think you know that based on separation of powers staff here don’t go to testify in front of Congress. She will not be testifying in front of Congress tomorrow.
Something that wasn’t going to change between Monday and Thursday.
And does the SS delay in revealing the results of their investigation remind anyone of barry’s own staff investigation last Christmas in reference to blago and barry’s seat? The delay while barry’s senior advisors were interviewed by the Feds?
When will the SS report come out? After midnight Friday or Saturday? Next week?
If it’s taking this long to figure out went wrong, then there’s a lot more problems then a couple of publicity hounds.
Imagine what it would have been like if it were Hillary Clinton’s WH Social Secretary – not that that would ever happen since Secy Clinton knows her way around the WH and international protocol – something this WH doesn’t give a damn about. They seem to forget that YouTube videos can be resurrected even if they are slowly taking down videos of barry’s gaffes.
Check it out folks. Check out your old posts and see how many videos are no longer there because of “terms of use violation”. Last week I found three and they were all related to barry gaffes.
And as far as a “history of White House staff not testifying before Congress”?
How many WH staff members responsible for controlling the guests have actually let two get in?
NONE.
Uuntil Ms Rogers’ watch.
Why?
Because there has always been a staff member whose job it was to stand by the WH entrance – a position Ms Rogers felt she could just do away with because it “wouldn’t look very good“.
And how is Ms Rogers’ Social Office looking right now? The entire FLOTUS staff?
And where’s the Missus hiding?
Is she planning her first international mission of mercy?
Ha-ha. Right.
This WH is unbelievably cowardly. They are not held accountable by anyone for anything, and until they are, breaks in protocol are going to keep happening.
What do you bet will happen in Copenhagen? In Oslo?
Who is barry going to prostrate himself before next?
How many “foreigners” is he going to avoid calling on when he can no longer evade actual live press conferences with unknown and unscreened soft lobs?
How many unscreened questions has barry answered live? Not TV interviews by sycophants. Not townhalls where everyone is a barryfan. Not the primetime good for show 3-4 questions. Besides, the long answers – saying nothing – are a tad obvious.
Secretary Clinton takes unscripted questions wherever she goes. She talks to leaders and she talks with women and children from the community. And then she answers the questions instead of intellectualizing Kumbaya-style and never taking a stand. And the only publicity she gets is when a question is mistranslated.
And somehow this WH doesn’t seem to think people notice it. Secretary Clinton is not only more popular than barry – she is less unpopular and has a higher approval rating. Real easy when barry’s crew isn’t calling her a racist.
This WH functions like children running a candy store. They have no clue and are too arrogant to ask. And they feel entitled and clearly have no qualms about changing procedures that have served to protect the WH for two centuries.
Change you can believe in!
One wonders if Ms Rogers has learned anything. If she has realized the staff positions are there for a reason and can’t be arbitrarily be done away with.
Ms Rogers could have at least shown some integrity and said she wanted Ms Hargraves out because of her affiliation with the Bush Administration.
‘But that’s not the barry way. Truth, transparency and integrity do not exist in the barry WH - just as words to be read in TOTUS.
What does the full-time staffer who replaced Ms Hargraves do?
How much more money is she getting paid than Ms Hargraves?
Why does FLOTUS needed two dozen staff when not a single one was available to greet her guests?
In all seriousness – why does Mrs Obama need 24 staff members? For what exactly?
The East Wing should be extremely embarrassed and there’s no hint of it anywhere. Just hiding and passing the buck. And throwing more expendable people under the bus – the one and only thing barry does consistently and predictably.
Historians are going to look back at this presidency and wonder why, after 11 months, barry is still being given a pass. This WH is not a step closer to a more perfect union – it’s a study in propaganda and absolute media corruption. It’s a study of sexism, castration anxiety and gyne envy.
It’s about the double standard of race.
Why else isn’t the press forcing Ms Rogers to testify?
Would Bush’s, McCain’s or Secretary Clinton’s staff be given a pass?
Of course not.
Where’s Mr Hardball who was showing film clips of John Malkovich yesterday to prove how absolutely dangerous the situation was?
Why aren’t the two FLOTUS staffers, who were notified by Ms Roxanne Roberts that the crashers were not on the list, testifying?
Sure the crashers got by the SS – but they would have been stopped at the door by Ms Hargraves and they could have been prevented from getting near the president and PM had the FLOTUS staffers shown any concern or responsibility or attention to duty.
Keep representing, Ms Rogers! I’m sure you have a full collection of plastic toys to hand out or ipods with barry speeches or DVDs that can be found in airports and WalMart.
