Interesting way to promote healthy feelings of forgiveness – no Dr Phil (or Jerry Springer) needed. Natives have at it in order to reconcile their disputes.

REUTERS: Men, women and children face-off in bare-knuckle brawls in Cuzco as part of an annual tradition to clear personal grievances ahead of the New Year.

Local authorities oversaw the festival, known as Takanakuy, where referees mediated the bare-knuckled, free-kicking fights designed to allow people to vent anger from personal or economic problems.
