Matthews talks about the Inauguration and an enlightenment he had after the 21-gun salute and jabs at the birthers.
MATTHEWS:
I realized he’s not just head of our government or head of a political party or head of the executive branch – he’s head of the country – like a king only he’s an elected king. He’s head of our country. This is a big deal. And today we have a first family that’s African American in the WH, living upstairs, the most hallowed ground in American, and people seem to accept it.
I’m not talking about the birthers and a few people on the whack end of things.
