Gov ED RENDELL recounts his journey to bring home two of his constituents – sisters JAMIE and ALISON MCMUTRIE, who have been running an orphanage in Haiti and the 54 Haitian orphans.
Rep. JASON ALTIMIRE (D-PA) accompanied Gov Rendell and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a private donor (paid for plane) were involved as well as multiple government agencies.
Also comments on their thrashing in Mass and what should be done with healthcare.

Look, if we’re going to go down in 2010, let’s go down doing something and fighting for things we believe in as Democrats.
1-Healthcare: No one can be dropped if they get sick or if they have pre-existing conditions and take away anti-trust exemption. If we pass that, the health insurance companies will come back to the Republicans and saying you gotta pass the rest of the stuff because we need to have everybnody insured to make it work financially.
2-Conference committees together get the best bill to pass and then make them filibuster.
Need only 51 to pass – make them filibuster.
If we lose, we’ll have lost for something worthwhile.
That’s what we’re elected to do – to do something!

Seems he’s forgotten that the majority of Americans do not want the healthcare bill and only 38% approve of barry’s handling of it. In other words, the filibuster has a good chance of working.
