barry: “Sarah Palin’s not much of an expert on nuclear issues”

April 9, 2010

Why is barry bothering with Sarah Palin?

All it shows is his weakness = Palin’s point.

If something isn’t true – it doesn’t need refuting.

George Stephanopoulos in Prague.

Watch barry’s face. Since he signed that HC bill, he hasn’t even tried to mask it. He giggles with Stephanopoulos like he does with Steve Kroft.

STEPHANOPOULOS:

You have no doubt you’re going to get the 8 Republicans you need to ratify this treaty?

BARRY:

Listen, I’ve now been in Washington for – long enough for me to say I have no doubt how the Senate operates would be foolish.

Stephanopoulos reads Palin’s comments while barry snorts and pretends to find to find them amusing.

PALIN: It’s unbelievable. No other administration in America’s history I think would ever have considered such a step.

It’s kinda like getting out in the playground – a bunch of kids ready to fight, and one of the kids saying ‘go ahead, punch me in the face, I am not going to retaliate. Go ahead and do what you want to with me.

BARRY:

Uh, I really have no response to that.

But he did. If it didn’t bother him he would have stopped there.

Last I checked, Sarah Palin’s not much of an expert on, uh, nuclear, uh, issues.

When’s his next stump so he can get back at Palin?

And the Republicans?

What I  would say to them is that if the secretary of defense and the chairman of the Joints Chiefs of Staff are comfortable with it, I’m probably going to take my advice from them and not from Sarah Palin.

He has no clue he is the president.

He signed the treaty in usual barry fanfare but for it to become reality (something that doesn’t seem to matter in the barrymedia or barry WH) it has to be approved by 2/3 Senate vote.

Sen Mitch McConnell (KY-R):

The Senate will assess whether or not the agreement is verifiable, whether it reduces our nation’s ability to defend itself and our allies from the threat of nuclear armed missiles, and whether or not this administration is committed to preserving our own nuclear triad.

Once an international treaty has been ratified can it be repealed?
