Secy Clinton: #3 most respected “world leader”

Interesting poll by Harris Interactive, with FRANCE 24 and The International Herald Tribune, which examines the popularity and perceived influence of leading political and spiritual leaders in the world.

4-German Chancellor Angela Merkel 54%
5-Nicolas Sarkozy 37%
6 UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon 37%
7-Pope Benedict XVI 36%

Secy Clinton came in #5 for influence at 55%. Two women – who actually paid their dues – made the top three and then there’s barry the celebrity.

What are the chances barry would be listed if he was Secretary of State?

Least popular:
Iran: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
Libya: Moammar Gadhafi
China: President Hu Jintao
