I’m surprisd this even went to trial. Governor of Alaska and vice presidential candidate had her personal email account hacked and anyone not in Tennessee been hearing about the trial in the news?
Son of State Rep Michael Kernell (D-TN-Memphis), DAVID C KERNELL was convicted in a Tennessee federal court after 4 days of deliberation by a jury of 6 men, 6 women.
Interesting juror note sent to the judge yesterday:
Some of us feel not all jurors are following jury instructions.

VERDICT
1-GUILTY: FELONY destruction of records to hamper a federal investigation (Max: 20 yrs – sentencing expected 15-21 months, allow probation)
2-GUILTY: MISDEMEANOR unlawfully obtaining information from a protected computer. (Opted for misdemeanor. Max: 1 yr)
3-ACQUITTED: FELONY wire fraud.
4-MISTRIAL: FELONY identity theft
Sentencing date will be set after they decide whether to retry Count 4.
Kernell free on bond. Kernell family to issue statement.
