Transocean, the owner of the Deep Horizon Rig (leased to BP) held a Memorial service today at the Jackson Convention Complex in Jackson, Mississippi for the 11 Americans who died on April 20 when the rig exploded.
Bronze Hard Hats presented to the families.
11 Americans, all men, ages 22-56, 9 married, 1 engaged, 1 girlfriend, total of 20 children (+ 9 month male fetus) left fatherless, roustabout to chemical engineers, hailed from Texas (2), Mississippi (4) and Louisiana (5).
