BP America’s president/CEO LAMAR MCKAY has been restricting access to their underwater photos/videos of the leak. The first video was released on May 11 and two more today.
APRIL 20: explosion, killing 11 men, fire burned 2 days.
MAY 2: barry arrives
MAY 11: the first video released when the leak had already reached a conservative 4M barrels.
Another case of the media ignoring things that don’t paint barry in a positive light.
What is it going to take for them to do their job?
They learned nothing about their failure in the lead up to the Iraq War.
And as far as conspiracies go – the only one that seems to matter are the birthers, which begs the question: If it’s such a crazy conspiracy – why are they wasting time talking about it?
As far as the oil disaster being “barry’s Katrina” why aren’t more folks talking about Halliburton who was responsible for cementing the blow out prevention valve which ultimately failed?
The climate change bill, which was due to be introduced in the Senate (first week of May) that included provisions for offshore drilling? No more said key sponsor Sen Lindsey Graham (R).
The environmentalists angry that barry was going to lift the moratorium on off-shore drilling?
Took until April 30 GMA for the WH – Axelrod – to speak.

[What the President has said - all he has said - he’s not gonna continue the moratorium on drilling
but he hasn’t – no additional drilling has been authorized and none will until we find out what happened here and whether there was something unique and preventable here.
10 days in and he had no idea what had actually happened or how bad it was - otherwise he would have said the most politically expedient thing (Rule #1), which would have been barry was keeping the moratorium in place.

Disturbing video. This has been going on non-stop for 21 days. There has to be someone who can reliably calculate the amount of the leak by analyzing this video…which it’s fair to say is why they didn’t release it.
Had they released video from April 23 when the fires had subsided – would it have taken until May 2 for barry to take notice?
What is the media doing to find out why barry hadn’t taken it more seriously?
Fine, BP will pay for it – but what about down the road when the fisheries don’t return?
When familly businesses go bankrupt?
When the restaurants dependent on fresh seafood no longer have any to serve?
What will happen to the communities who rely on such commerce?
The ommunities still recovering from Katrina?
And what of the human toll: anxiety, depression, substance abuse, divorce, homelessness and suicide?
Where will be the chants of Hope! and Change! when bary is long gone from the WH?
