OSHA fined BP $57 M – the largest fine ever levied.
Of the total violations OHSA hand outs to oil refineries – 97% go to BP
EPA & OSHA “egregious and willful violations”
2005 Texas City – 15 people killed – BP paid $50M criminal fine
It was the third largest fine ever imposed for environmental crime.
