1-GUILTY: FELONY destruction of records to hamper a federal investigation
2-GUILTY: MISDEMEANOR – unlawfully obtaining information from a protected computer
3-ACQUITTED: Felony wire fraud
4-MISTRIAL: Felony identity theft
Sentencing was delayed while they decided whether to retry Count 4. Expected sentence range 15-21 months.
Kernell is the son of State Rep Michael Kernell (D-TN-Memphis).
