Sherrod posts

Absolutely no doubt about CNN’s corruption now. I watched CNN American Morning as this was breaking and I posted what (I assumed) was the full initial NAACP statement condemning Ms Sherrod AND THE AUDIENCE (still not addressed).

Full transcript of American Morning segment

Chetry and Roberts went on about how the story was not complete, how the video did not tell the whole story and how the lesson was very different in the end – all the while they were doing the same thing.

Ms Chetry read only selected portions of the NAACP’s first statement – omitting the statement that did not fit in the CNN narrative.

Or did it?

CNN claims they saved her and they did…by selectively quoting the NAACP and leaving out the most damning sentence.

NAACP: We concur with US Agriculture Secretary Vilsack in accepting the resignation of Shirley Sherrod for her remarks at a local NAACP Freedom Fund banquet.

The NAACP in concurring legitimized that original video. It was their event, their speaker, their video and their members.

The NAACP did what the WH, MSM and Mr Breitbart did – they judged Ms Sherrod on the same video – even though they had everything they needed to prove/disprove the allegations. And yet only Mr Breitbart is guilty.

If Mr Breitbart is a racist on the basis of judging Ms Sherrod on that video – why isn’t Mr Jealous?

And the NAACP went one farther than Mr Breitbart. They not only judged Ms Sherrod on the basis of that one video – they ACTED on it  – by publicly condemning her and concurring with her resignation firing. Voluntary acts that actively caused Ms Sherrod to be fired that Mr Breitbart was entirely incapable of carrying out.

How many other whacked out videos has Breitbart posted in the last 2 years that didn’t cause the firing or condemnation of anyone?

And that NAACP-provided “Full” tape is no more a fair and accurate representation of Ms Sherrod’s entire tale than was Breitbart’s. The tape is not complete. There is an alleged “tape change” at 21:00.

And what is Ms Sherrod speaking of at that moment? What she did with the whitey farmer.

And what does it pick up with? The crowd laughing.

And there is no doubt that Ms Sherrod said more than a few words during the interruption.

Ms Sherrod’s opening remarks:

To the president of the NAACP, here, and the board of directors, and members, and all the others here, it is indeed a pleasure for me to be with you this evening.

Haven’t heard CNN commenting on that or asking the NAACP to explain.

Also not mentioned by CNN — the NAACP thanked Brietbart for bringing the video to their attention:

We thank those who brought this to our national office’s attention, as there are hundreds of local fundraising dinners each year.

The NAACP judged their own members’ reaction as disturbing:

The reaction from many in the audience is disturbing. We will be looking into the behavior of NAACP representatives at this local event and take any appropriate action.

Which they did not explain in their 3rd statement.

And their conclusion:

We would hope all who share our outrage at Sherrod’s statements would join us in pushing for these cases to be remedied.

And when folks showed their outrage, they were labeled racists and CNN turned the narrative to black farmers.

NAACP lost complete credibility with their first statement….why does Mr Jealous still have his job?
