WH wants you to know barry “prays every day” and is a “committed Christian”

Sept 19 First Family goes to Church

And here’s Burton’s take on the Pew Research Do You Think barry is a Muslim poll.

Has any other president been polled so much about their religion?

And who is really making barry’s faith an issue – voters or the barrymedia in an effort to engender sympathy and raise his poll numbers?

If I understood numbers, I would go back and plot barry’s poll numbers and the various polls about racism, birthers and his religion. Whenever his numbers dip – there’s always the same three-pronged explanation propagandized as barrynaysayers want to portray him as “other”.

After being asked about the poll results:

BURTON: But the President is a committed Christian. I think that the American people know that.

Not according to the poll or his words or his acts.

Q  Bill, back on just the President and his faith in that poll, one of the reasons cited by many is that we don’t often see the President going to church on Sunday.  Where is the First Family in their decision to find a congregation?  Is that still an active search, or have they sort of settled into a way of worship that they do now?

BURTON:  Well, as — the President has addressed this some, that by the President choosing a church, it does put undue pressure on that congregation, and it makes it a lot harder for folks to get into the church and to worship without the glare of all you guys coming along with them to be a part of that service.

But this should reassure you.

He prays every day.

How many times….five?

BURTON: He talks to a wide range of pastors and religious leaders periodically.  He’s in contact with his religious advisor every single day, Joshua DuBois.  And he’s going to continue to get that kind of spiritual guidance when he can.  When he’s up at Camp David he obviously attends a chapel there, as we’ve said.

And you’ll see him in church again.

Of course we will. Elections are coming, poll numbers need to bolstered, and it’s time for a family photo op that doesn’t have “vacation” in the caption.

BURTON: I mean, he’s been to church as President. He’ll go to church once again. But he is getting spiritual guidance on a regular basis.

It’s about time for a Jeremiah Wright sighting, innit?

9-1 Yep. Wright weighs in on barry’s religion question

What is unusual – Fr Pfleger is not hammering barry about the fact that gun violence in Chicago has only gotten worse since he took office – including a shooting in Fr’s own safe zone. For a while (maybe even still) he was flying the flag upside down.

When are barrypeople going to abandon him and speak up as they would if it were anyone as president?
