I have noticed this for a long time. Try inputting anything into the WH site search and see what you get as the top result. If you enter “Vice president speeches” this is the first result. It’s from March 2010 and it’s not even the transcript – it’s from the WH blog.
And I also thought this was exceptionally funny… the use of “she” in reference to the president of the United States.
They easily could have written: “with the support needed to govern effectively”. Unfortunately no office – executive or otherwise – can support a man who has no interest in governing.

Fareed Zakaria discusses the 9-11 mosque controversy with WSJ Bret Stephens and Peter Beinart from America Foundation, which happens to be chaired by barry’s good friend Mr Google Eric Schmidt.
Beinart compares the building of the 9-11 mosque so close to ground zero to having a Catholic Church in a gay neighborhood in San Francisco. And then tries to muddy the issue by bringing up mosque protests across the US. Not relevant to this discussion but certainly furthers the narrative that it’s all about tolerance and the Constitution.
In what “gay neighborhood” in SF were close to 3000 gays murdered by non-gays just because they were gay and happened to be in the building?
And just how many gays will be welcome at this alleged Islamic outreach center when gays are being executed in Muslim countries just for being gay?
Imagine this conversation taking place in 1953 Pearl Harbor with American Nazis wanting to build a 13 story whatever to promote outreach and understanding. Imagine that happening now.
Have to give it to Mr Stephens for his calm – much interrupted – comments. Beinart comes off as an illogical agitated barry shill whose talking point was gays gays gays when gays can’t even serve in his commander in chief’s military and are openly discriminated against with the full knowledge of the very same commander in chief.
Note there is never any discussion of Sharia – like there never is with these mosque discussions – because how could barrypeople defend that when barry himself hasn’t spoken out against it?
My question for Beinart: If mr holiman behind the mosque is promoting tolerance and “moderate” Islam, which does not exist, why does he think it’s ok for Muslim women to have no personal or parental rights and for girls as young as 8 to be sold to pedophiles under the guise of “marriage”?

Ms Sherrod to meet with Secy Vilsack Tuesday

Ms Sherrod has re-surfaced. Today she spoke at annual meeting of the Federation of Southern Cooperatives Land Assistance Fund at the Rural Training and Research Center in Epes, Alabama. Also present NAACP president Ben Jealous.
Would be curious to watch the video of today’s remarks and see if she acknowledged Mr Jealous the same way she did on her video of question. A video that was edited at the exact moment she was explaining what she did for the whitey farmer who was acting so superior he came to her aid decades later.
Ms Sherrod said she is planning to meet with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack on Tuesday to “discuss a new job offer”.

This is too weird for words so I’m posting directly from CNN. Julian Assange is the man behind Wikileaks and was responsible for the massive document drop concerning the Afghanistan war.

Julian Assange, who lives part time in Sweden, has been charged in Sweden with rape and molestation, a spokeswoman for the Swedish prosecutor’s office told CNN Saturday.
Spokeswoman Karin Rosander said the charges were filed Friday night in relation to two separate instances, but she didn’t have more detail about when the alleged crimes occurred or who the alleged victims are.
Assange denied the charges in a posting Saturday on the WikiLeaks Twitter page, saying, “The charges are without basis and their issue at this moment is deeply disturbing.”
Assange was in Sweden last weekend, but Rosander said it’s not clear whether he is still in the country. She said police have been unable so far to make contact with Assange.
UK Telegraph is reporting that there is a warrant for Assange’s arrest in Sweden and that Assange knew nothing about it:
Mr Assange, whose current whereabouts are unknown, also sent an email to the Swedish daily newspaper, Dagens Nyheter, saying that he had not yet been contacted by police. “Why these accusations are popping up right now is an interesting question. I have not been contacted by police. These allegations are false,” he said.
Last sentence:
Prosecuting Wikileaks would be a complex procedure, however, and expose the Obama administration to accusations of trying to stifle legitimate journalism.
Legitimate journalism?
Since barry came on scene there has been no “legitimate journalism”. And posting tens of thousands of documents that put informants, locals, soldiers and global security at risk without even reading them is not journalism. It is a selfishness and need for adulation that supersedes even barry’s.

*update CNN: Assange is “no longer wanted” and “no longer arrested in absentia” and “is not suspected of rape” but is still charged with molestation. The decision to charge him had been made by the “on-call” prosecutor and was revoked by the chief prosecutor, which is not unusual in Sweden.
I enjoy creating systems on a grand scale, and I enjoy helping people who are vulnerable. And I enjoy crushing bastards. So it is enjoyable work.
And every single innocent death resulting from the documents he posts with lead right back to him. Wonder what Australia thinks of their fine citizen.

Larry King speaks with Gov Paterson (D-NY) about the building of the 9-11 mosque.
Last week, Gov Paterson offered state help if the mosquites would move.
GOV PATERSON: Frankly, if the sponsors were looking for property anywhere at a distance that would be such that it would accommodate a better feeling among the people who are frustrated, I would look into trying to provide them with the state property they would need.
An offer the mosquites not only refused – they didn’t even pretend to consider it.
PATERSON: I think they would like to stay where they are, and I certainly respect that and I certainly respect them. Having said that, how much more foresighted would it have been if the imam who is the developer of the project had been willing to hear what we are actually talking about?
Gotta love that outreach!
Gov Paterson is not against the mosque or the mosquites. He, like the majority of Americans, believe the mosque should not be built in that location. Real simple.
