Hello anon2010.

Thank you for the typos. It’s been worse the last week because I can only write posts on the HTML side. The dyslexia is bad enough but it has become impossible with all the visible links. Can’t see the pix and can’t directly insert them so I have to take a screenshot and then upload it, which takes forever. And since I can’t highlight in any color, it’s an overwhelming jumble of letters and symbols. Then there’s the autosave update that I can’t find a way to shut off, which causes some posts to be updated, some not, and some to revert to old revisions – something WP hasn’t been able to figure out. Add in the multiple updates to most every post because it’s hard to pick up there/their/they’re etc when I’m typing and the absolute incensement over what is going unnoticed and unoutraged and it’s not good. I’ve gone back and tried to straighten some things out. I checked the links and they all seem to work. Some of the links to the same posts have different titles but they work. Any problems click on the link at the top *Ashtiani/stoning posts* and it takes you to a page where all the published posts are listed and broken down into categories. Some sanity and order remains somewhere. Thanks again. Really.

ps, If you now how to get me back to visual mode (there is no tab) I would really appreciate it.

Wikileaks calling for Julian Assange to resign

Seems Wikileaks wants Julian Assange to resign because of the investigation into his rape and molestation charges. (Initial charges dropped, case reopened) But it’s more likely the fact that he keeps trying to blame it on the US.

Story is interesting because of the quote made by a woman concerning Assange and what might have happened.

WikiLeaks organizer, Birgitta Jonsdottir is a parliamentarian in Iceland and also understands Swedish. She read through the court documents and said she found no evidence of a Western conspiracy. Assange thinks the CIA is behind the “smear”.

Jonsdottir re the women making the allegations:

I want to be neutral on this, because I don’t have the full story. I don’t want to diminish the seriousness of what they are saying.

And that’s where she should have stopped. Instead it was this:

Julian is brilliant in many ways, but he doesn’t have very good social skills. And he’s a classic Aussie in the sense that he’s a bit of a male chauvinist.

One doesn’t need to understand the language to have sex with someone – not even to agree on price. And one doesn’t have to understand the language to know when someone does not want to have sex. The women are not alleging sexism or complaining about his social skills or his bad breath – the charges are rape and molestation.

He should be considered innocent until proven guilty and so should the women.

The UK Times should be lashed. And Sajjad should pursue financial damages against them so they have to get involved. He should also call out Mohammad Mostafaei who sent the photos to the Times and then lied about where he got them.

Reality (and hilarity) from House Minority Leader John Boehner who is calling for barry to fire his economic “advisors”. Enter Austin Goolsbee of Canada-NAFTA fame. Larry Summers wasn’t in the lineup flanking barry. When are they going to realize such a lineup just reminds us of how little barry can do by himself and how many people’s salaries we are paying.

President Obama’s agenda represented ‘change’ once, but now it is time for him to change course, abandon his job-killing policies, and find himself a new economic team.

It’s time to put grown-ups in charge.

It’s time for people willing to accept responsibility

President Obama should ask for — and accept — the resignations of the remaining members of his economic team, starting with Secretary Geithner and Larry Summers, the head of the National Economic Council.

We do not have the luxury of waiting months for the president to pick scapegoats for his failing ‘stimulus’ policies.

Hardball segment “Let Me Finish”

Seems the thrill is gone. Matthews is tired of barry’s “idealism” and has had “enough of the solo act” and thinks it’s “time for the shake-up”.

So he took it upon himself to unveil the latest barrymedia’s propaganda to help barry stay in office.

Curious how the plans always revolve around what The Clintons can do to help barry even though he has never publicly disavowed “the Clintons are racists” narrative. Mr Bill is probably not welcome in the WH any time soon unless there is something major or barry’s poll numbers plummet even further. How many incumbents would rather Pres Clinton than barry?

“Hillary” however is always the first name mentioned for a position barry needs help with even though she had “no experience” to be president, and, according to Matthews, only got her Senate seat because “her husband screwed around”.

Everyone knows Secy Clinton is more qualified than barry. Michelle Bernard said coronation night that had “Hillary” not voted for Iraq, she probably would have been the nominee. People actually believed his Iraq fairy tale. Still hard to fathom, because he is sticking to Pres Bush’s agreement and timetable to leave Iraq. And what was his campaign based on?

And then there’s foreign policy experience.

Aug unemployment 9.6%

Didn’t think it was possible for barrymedia to spin the unemployment numbers. Even barry couldn’t muster the energy in his TOTUS reading (text/video). Must be the stress of too many workdays in a row.

But ever lapdog Chris Matthews managed. He lead off his show with:

We got a glimmer of good economic news this morning. The jobless rate ticked up a tenth of point to 9.6%.

Sounds like something a Republican would say.

Then he said “the Democrats have to worry about the crazy vote”.

Are all the “crazies” in America non-Democrats?

I’ve never voted but it seems pretty clear how crazy it was to put a cipher in the WH. How many of those college kids who were so enthralled will even bother to vote in November?

Then Matthews went on to barry’s senate seat in regards to a recent WGN poll (below):

Well Mr President, forget about swing states. You may have to focus on your own home state of Illinois.

Thing is barry doesn’t care. He doesn’t need Chicago politicians anymore. He got what he was after. Same reason he never joined another congregation after he finally got rid of Wright – it wasn’t necessary. Then there’s the fact that folks he endorses lose. And the fact youths are killing each other and the police and barry has done nothing. And the fact that barry was the reason behind Blago’s impeachment that some folks are still angry about.

Unemployment spin. Listen to 30 seconds and ask yourself if he cares – especially when he gets to: “Millions of our neighbors are living with that painfully every day.” It’s clear he hasn’t even read what TOTUS is telling him. And it’s time to retire “worst recession since the Great Depression”.  How many people who have massive credit card even know someone who lived during the Depression? All it does is remind folks of what his stimulus was going to fix it. And the WH wants you to believe the stimulus package had added between 2.5M – 3.6M. Their estimate range is greater than all the private sector jobs created this year: 1.1M vs 763K.

Best line:

But I want all Americans to remind themselves there are better days ahead.

Yes we have to be reminded because there is no evidence of it. And a man intent on fixing it would have added a personal action to it – like “and I am going to see to it by doing x, y, z. He doesn’t even care enough to fake it. And then when he actually allowed a question about calling it the “Summer of Recovery” and he says what else — he’s giving a speech next week.

I don’t regret the notion that we are moving forward because of the steps that we’ve taken.  And I’m going to have a press conference next week where, after you guys are able to hear where we’re at, we’ll be able to answer some specific questions.

Never an action – always a notion. And he doesn’t know what they’re going to do because TOTUS isn’t on. Imagine how how would react if TOTUS failed. He’d make Gov Brewer look like she just blinked.
