The Blackhawks are the first ever sports team in Illinois to receive/be honored with permanent “Professional Sports Teams license plates”. They weren’t approved in IL until 2002, which explains why the Bulls weren’t first, but why not the Sox after they won the World Series in 2005?

Judge Zagel upholds Blago’s sole conviction

Judge James Zagel has denied the Blago defense team’s motion to nullify Milorad’s sole conviction – lying to the FBI – punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
Defense alleged prosecutorial misconduct – Judge Zagel said he found no reversible error and that Blago’s statement to the FBI was proven to be false at trial.
Blago’s retrial is scheduled to begin April 20, 2011.

Judge James Zagel granted Rod Blagojevich a little more time.. Blago’s defense, pared down from the initial trial, asked to start in May and they were given April 20.
Would sure like to know how much Tony Rezko is cooperating. He is due to be sentenced Dec 17 for his pizza scam.

They are both doing outstanding jobs where they are.
Rumor unfounded…but not the idea.
As for seeking re-election:
Obviously, I haven’t made any formal decision, but I feel like I’ve got a lot of work left to do.

Norah O’Donnell (filling in for Mika Brzezinski) is outraged Sarah Palin made a stump comment about Mrs Obama. As if attacking the First Lady is something new. Think Hillary Rodham Clinton.
ODONNELL: She (Palin) even appeared to make a dig at Michelle Obama, the First Lady of the United States, alliuding to comments she made on the campaign trail in 2008, where she said: “For the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country”.
Watch what Palin said last night.

Mrs Obama’s present role of campaigning spouse makes her fair game.
