Remember the 13 Americans murdered in Ft Hood islamoterrorist attack

Today marks the one year anniversary of the Ft Hood islamoterrorist attack in which 13 unarmed Americans (10 men, 3 women, 1 unborn fetus) were murdered simply because they were not Muslim.

Ft Hood Deputy Commanding General, Major Gen Will Grimsley:

November 5, 2009, is forever etched in the consciousness of Fort Hood, the Army and the United States. That day, one year ago today, our home was attacked. Thirteen of our own were killed and dozens more wounded — not on a distant battlefield, but right here.

54 soldiers and civilians were honored for going beyond the call of duty.

Unveiled was a granite memorial bearing this inscription:

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.
Love leaves a memory that no one can steal.

Pfc. Michael Pearson, Bolingbrook, Illinois, 22

Capt. Russell Seager, Racine, Wisconsin, 51

Pvt. Francheska Velez, Chicago, Illinois, 21 (and unborn fetus)

Lt. Col. Juanita L. Warman, Havre De Grace, Maryland, 55

Spc. Kham Xiong, St. Paul, Minnesota, 23
