CBS, ABC/WaPo, Zogby, Gallup polls re: TSA airline screening

Nov 23, 2010

Register TSA complaint: 1-866-289-9673

Not sure what can be gained from these numbers. What percentage of the polling group had even flown since the new guidelines were introduced and how many of them were groped. It’s one thing to think or read about it – it’s another to have someone ask you to remove your prosthetic breast or pull down your pants to reveal your urinary catheter (which the TSA agents disconnected, showering the passenger with urine).

TSA screening

  • 70 of 450 US airports have scanners
  • More than 400 machines in use
  • Only 2% of passengers will be subjected to enhanced screening
