Assange/wikileaks posts = adult spam barrage

December 6, 2010

Dec 6, 2010

Why is it every time I publish a post about Julian Assange or wikileaks I am inundated with disgusting spam?

(Dec 7) Assange arrested in UK – jailed, denied bail

A detail from the Interpol website shows the appeal for the arrest of the editor-in-chief of the Wikileaks whistleblowing website, Julian Assange. Assange who has spearheaded the release of thousands of sensitive diplomatic cables through Wikileaks and is wanted in Sweden on rape charges against two women, is currently in hiding. Assange, an Australian, lives in Britain, but is considering seeking asylum in Switzerland.

Cubs GM Jim Hendry re: Ron Santo

December 4, 2010

Dec 3, 2010

Cubs GM Jim Hendry:

Ron Santo was one of the finest men — and toughest men — I’ve ever known.

He was a credit to the game and a model of what a person should be like, always giving back to others his entire life. For the last 10 years, I had the pleasure of sitting across the aisle from Ronny during all of our trips on the road. We talked a lot of baseball, and his passion for the game was obvious to anybody who knew him. Nobody enjoyed our wins more than Ron Santo. Nobody took the losses harder than Ronny.

We lost a beloved member of the WGN Radio and Cubs family. Ron’s voice was the true soundtrack of summer in Chicago and his presence in the broadcast booth will forever be missed. Our programming over the next few days is dedicated to honoring Ron’s life and legacy through the stories of his fans, family, and friends.

Dec 3, 2010

Cubs Legend Ron Santo has died from complications of bladder cancer and diabetes. He was 70.

Hard to grasp.

Especially hearing Pat talk LIVE about Ronnie on WGN now.

Ronnie started with the Cubs in 1960.

And survived another 50 years as a Cubfan – every bit of it etched on his face.

Without being rightfully inducted into the Hall of Fame.

When asked why he was signing up for more misery in 2009:

RONNIE: What else am I going to do? Doing the Cubs games is like therapy for me. It’s relaxing. I’m going on my 21st year, and I feel I can keep it up for a while. I don’t know what I would do without the Cubs. I’d probably go crazy.

Assange Interpol Most Wanted photo

This did not all arise today as his cluelesss supporters are alleging. It started back in August when Assange was charged with rape, charges dropped, case reopened, recharged with rape, Swedish arrest warrant, no response, arrested in absentia, international Red Notice, Interpol’s Most Wanted.

ARRESTED IN ABSENTIA FOR RAPE

Charges from alleged acts comitted against two adult women in Sweden between Aug 13 – 18, 2010.

1 count rape, 1 count sexual molestation

2 counts sexual molestation, 1 counts illegal use of force

Seems the Swedes are willing to make money off wikileaks servers but refused Assange citizenship.
