Harry Reid is now officially on record re: barry’s birth certificate. I would like to find a transcript and video to go with this to document it fully. Just don’t have time right now.
According to GLENN THRUSH at Politico, Harry Reid weighed in saying he didn’t want to weigh in and in the process went on official Congressional Record. And not only did he go on record – he used the words: “phony issue”, “fake problems”, “ artificial controversy”, “absurd, irresponsible, baseless and the false claims of long ago have been refuted” and bonus – “ignores the undeniable and proven fact that President Obama was born in the United States”.
He is on record saying that it is an undeniable and proven fact that President Obama was born in the United States. That alone is a lie. And if it is proven he knew it when he said it?
That’s why I need to find Reid’s exact quotes – whether he uses the word birth certificate.
FACT: Not a single one of them can name the exact physical birthplace of barry. Therefore, by absolute definition, no one can say barry was born in Hawaii.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is so mad about the birthers being a “distraction” that he doesn’t want them to give them “even a minute of our attention on the floor of the United States Senate.”
Evidently Reid just changed direction and said the birth certificate issue (No exact quote is here – it’s be interesting if he said “birthers”) is:
an artificial controversy [that] is getting far too much attention lately, one that ignores the undeniable and proven fact that President Obama was born in the United States.
Why would he be so against something that would only apply to FUTURE presidential candidates unless it would come into play in barry attempt at a second term? [This issue is going to be settled by then.] The Senate went out of their way to confirm “natural born status” on Senator John McCain – something oh so curiously absent from barry’s resolution.
Why aren’t they just keeping their mouth shut? [Emphasis added]
REID: Let’s be clear. It’s a phony issue and does not deserve even a minute of our attention on the floor of the United States Senate. It’s absurd, irresponsible, baseless and the false claims of long ago have been refuted. The American people have every right to expect us to solve real problems before creating fake problems.
And the American People have every right to know the actual physical location of their president’s birth. Reid cannot be taken seriously as a guardian of the Constitution with these he doth protest too much words.
If it is false – PROVE IT. Produce a copy of the original birth CERTIFICATE documenting barry’s actual physical birthplace and be done with it. Until then Mr Majority Leader, barry has not been proven to have been born in Hawaii. Period. End of story.
And I found Thrush’s wording and tone here extremely interesting:
Reid may not have given them a full minute of attention on the Senate floor, but now the birther movement has a permanent spot in the official Congressional Record, thanks to Reid’s speech.
