Saudi Arabia: 12 y/o seeking divorce from 80 y/o child rapist

This is wrong on any and all levels.

The man barry genuflected before, in full view of the world, finds it perfectly acceptable for girls of any age to be sold by their father to pedophiles of any age and that girls as young as 8 are capable of fully consenting to “marriage” and that the subsequent consummation is not rape.

Would barry have done the same if it were Malia or Natasha?

Saudi Arabia is supposed to be an “ally” even as they try to destroy our economy and send their natives here to kill all the women and children they can while the ones who remain do the same to their own female relatives.

How emasculated are these beasts?

And they talk about a family’s “honor”?

Who in the hell are they kidding?

What kind of honor comes from selling little girls, burying alive their sisters and raping their mothers?

It’s nothing more than an attempt to mask their sexual perversions and insatiable appetite for vengeance and violence.

The truth?

They do not respect life – not even the life of the woman who gave them life. They are not man enough to live in an equal society and they are not intelligent enough to communicate with or satisfy a woman, so they resort to their fists and penises and machetes. And when the woman sees their impotence, she is disfigured and/or murdered and replaced with a 80lb girl with mutilated genitalia to accomodate the beasts’ shriveled genitals.

Dishonor killings = impotent men making sure no one finds out.

And then they use religion to justify their savagery when any rational human being knows that whatever force created life would not sanction the destruction of it.

And in order to motivate their male relatives to become human detonators, they tell them there are 72 virgins awaiting them in heaven. Such ignorance is almost comical. How many virgins past the age of 15 are there in the entire Muslim world? And if they can’t satisfy one adult woman, what the hell would they do with 72 virgins?

The point is moot no matter how ignorant. Someone who intentionally chooses to blow himself up with the sole intent of killing and maiming as many people as possible (who have done nothing to them) won’t be going to heaven. Whatever bit of soul they might have once possessed will go to a special hell reserved for cowards and pedophiles.

And what are we led to believe?

That the Arab Charter on Human Rights the League of Arab Nations, including Saudi Arabia, ratified actually protects women and children when it doesn’t even stipulate a mimimum age for marriage.

Men and women of marrying age have the right to marry and to found a family according to the rules and conditions of marriage. No marriage can take place without the full and free consent of both parties. The laws in force regulate the rights and duties of the man and woman as to marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution.

On what planet is an 11 y/o capable of “full and free consent”?

That their ratification of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women is being followed when it stipulates:

1. States Parties shall take all appropriate measures to eliminate discrimination against women in all matters relating to marriage and family relations and in particular shall ensure, on a basis of equality of men and women:

(b) The same right freely to choose a spouse and to enter into marriage only with their free and full consent

(f) The same rights and responsibilities with regard to guardianship,

2…all necessary action, including legislation, shall be taken to specify a minimum age for marriage and to make the registration of marriages in an official registry compulsory.

Or even has meaning when they add this caveat:

In case of contradiction between any term of the Convention and the norms of islamic law, the Kingdom is not under obligation to observe the contradictory terms of the Convention.

Norms of Islamic law = women and girls have no rights = convention is meaningless.

And that their ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which considers everyone under 18 a child, has any significance when ratifiers are allowed to specify their “own age limits for different matters under their national laws”, including minimum age for marriage.

Who do they think they’re kidding?

Under present Islamic law aka Sharia, men are allowed to own their wives and however many they like. They are allowed complete guardianship over their children, which includes the “right” to sell or murder them. They are allowed to slap their wife if she pays too much for the shrouds she is mandated to wear. They are allowed to starve their wife if she refuses to perform her marital ‘duty”. And they are allowed to stone their wife or daughter to death (and videotape it – GRAPHIC) if she is so much as seen with a man who is not related to her.

And on and on and on…

The only way women and children will be afforded their God-given right to exist is if Sharia is abolished. And in order for that to happen Muslim men need to become enlightened. And how is that going to happen when they already think it’s okay to treat human beings as property?

The “holy men” claim Sharia is based on the Koran. But nowhere in the Koran does it say women must be shrouded. Nowhere does it say it’s okay for a father to sell his daughters. And nowhere does it say women can’t drive a vehicle or leave the house unattended.

They are all man-made laws masquerading as the “Law of Islam”. Man-made laws that do not allow a woman or child to defend themselves against accusations or mandate the accuser to provide proof of the alleged offense. And there are no impartial judges and no written code of law with prescribed punishment. The “holy men” decide whatever they want – meaning their interpretation depends on what the man can offer as a bribe.

In this particular case, the 11 y/o girl was sold to her “father’s” 80 y/o pedophile cousin for 85,000 riyals = $22,670.

According to Al Arabiya, the “marriage” was “consummated” meaning the LITTLE GIRL WAS RAPED.

The beast pretending to be her father?

I don’t care about her age. Her health and her body build make her fit for marriage.

I also don’t care what her mother thinks.

Her body build?

This is a very old custom and there is nothing wrong with it whether religiously or socially.

And the pervert who bought her who already has 3 very young wives – all with children?

It is very simple. We didn’t do anything wrong. It is a valid contract that meets all the conditions for marriage.

What’s the point of all this fuss?

He’s right. There’s nothing wrong with it in Saudi Arabia or anywhere else in the Muslim world and it will remain that way until someone steps up and says no more.

And the raped child, as she sobbed?

Save me. I don’t want him.

Does that sound like consent?

All you muslims who say “this doesn’t represent Islam” or “it’s a perversion of Islam” and that “it gives Islam a bad name” are lying hypocrites who only speak up when something like this gets press. If you really believed what you parrot, you would speak up when no one is looking. If you really believed selling and raping a child is a perversion of your religion, you would have the obligation to speak up and demand change, and you are not – which means you find it acceptable.

In this case, a muslim cleric has spoken up. Sheikh Abdullah al-Manie, a member of the Council of Senior Ulema (scholars)  said the Prophet Mohammed’s marriage to a 9 y/o girl (Aisha) in the 7th Centurey cannot be used to justify child marriages in the 21st Century.

[Aisha’s marriage] cannot be equated with child marriages today because the conditions and circumstances are not the same.

The child’s mother, who is separated from the father and allegedly opposed to the barter “filed for divorce on her daughter’s behalf” stating that her daughter was raped but then “withdrew without giving a reason after a second court hearing”.

One doesn’t need much imagination to know what that reason was: money.

The raped child words in court:

I agree to the marriage. I have no objection. This is in filial respect to my father and obedience to his wish.

One wonders how many times and in how many ways and in how many orifices she was raped between her mother’s initial request and her appearance in court. One also wonders how a mother can allow her child to be sold and how much money she was paid to drop the suit.

Until mothers speak out and put their lives on the line for their daughters, nothing is going to change.

And what does King Abdullah’s daughter, Princess Adela bint Abdullah have to say?

I, personally, and many specialists in social and education fields, share the opinion that it is in violation of children’s rights. A child has the right to live her childhood and not be forced to get married. Even an adult would not accept that.

She is an adult and she is accepting it. She could quite easily intercede on the raped child’s behalf but hasn’t. One wonders how old her mother was when she was married.

Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Commission (HRC) intervened and filed for divorce on the child’s behalf after the mother withdrew. It is the first time it has been allowed and the hope is this case will lead to a law banning child marriages.

Unfortunately, one little girl is not going to make that happen – it didn’t change things in Yemen.

In between the time of the mother’s intitial complaint and the court hearing, the government put together a committee to prevent girls under 18 from getting married without their consent. Not sure what protection that will be because the 12 y/o was coerced into saying she consented. A 12 y/o cannot consent to marriage or her own rape.

The committee is made up of government representatives (ministers of interior and justice) as well as the HRD and is led by Sultan bin Zahem. He was the lawyer chosen to investigate this case and the committee is why the girl is being given a second chance.

Sultan bin Zahem:

This committee investigates the circumstances of a marriage to ensure that it is done for the benefit of the girl and not for other reasons such as, for example, the father receiving a large dowry.

They hope to enact a law that would require official permission for all marriages of girls under 18.

The guardian’s approval should be contingent upon the girl’s welfare, but if the marriage is approved for financial reasons then it becomes invalid.

To redress such a mistake and to render the contract legitimate, the guardian has to return the dowry money to the husband and a divorce should take place. Then the terms of the marriage can be negotiated in a way that is beneficial for the bride and another contract has to be made.

What good does that do the girl who has already been ruined?

And if the father decides to kill his daughter for bringing dishonor on the family?

Reality from the chairman of the National Society for Human Rights, Mufleh al-Qahtani:

Such a law will take a long time to be passed as there are social, religious, and cultural aspects.

It’s been 14 centuries.

And even if a law were to be passed, who would hold Saudi Arabia accountable when no one in the Muslim world finds anything wrong with it now?
