Robert Gibbs admitted on Meet The Press Sunday that the Democrats could lose control of the House.
David GREGORY: Is the majority for the Democrats in the House in jeopardy?
Robert GIBBS: I think there’s no doubt that there are a lot of seats that will be up, a lot of contested seats. I think people are going to have a choice to make in the fall. But I think there’s no doubt there are enough seats in play that could cause Republicans to gain control. There’s no doubt about that.
Why does it matter?
barry’s actions are guided by political expedience. It’s the only constant about him. And taking the birth certificate issue out of the equation is more politically expedient at this point than trying to pass the birthers off as crazy. And there had to be more than a few candidates who asked him to release it so they wouldn’t be hassled at townhalls while they’re trying to sell his next bankrupting of America let’s make the Muslims happy scam.
I don’t think he cares if they lose the House. It makes it easier for him to complain about the GOP not doing anything. He’ll do his one term as planned and then sit back and laugh when the healthcare costs start kicking in and China and Saudi Arabia want their money back.
