Joe Scarborough has officially chosen propaganda over truth. One wonders if he is aware that the “holy” man behind the mosque said 9-11 was America’s fault? And that as recently as a few months ago the “holy” man refused to denounce Hamas?
Seems he’s not aware that the majority of Americans are against the building of the mosque and they are not all located in Manhattan. As for the folks speaking out against the mosque, Scarborough said their “words continue to clutter the airwaves”.
Clutter the airwaves?
As far as Senator Reid’s comments.
SCARBOROUGH: Majority leader deciding that since he’s running in a Nevada senate race that he needs to comment about a mosque thousands of miles away.
Reid was called out by his opponent. It’s not the mosque itself – it’s the location of it.
And how are folks in Nevada not affected by 9-11?
Flat out lie:
SCARBOROUGH: Harry Reid, a Democrat, has decided to undercut Barack Obama for, by the way, doing the radical, radical thing of actually supporting the First Amendment.
Cuz all Obama has said is that Muslims have a right under the Constitution to build a place of worship.
This is what barry said. And he wanted to “be clear” which it seems Scarborough is intentionally ignoring.
BARRY: But let me be clear. As a citizen, and as President, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country.
And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances.
Perfectly clear endorsement of the mosque. Had he stopped at the first statement there would have been no problem – but he didn’t.
