PA (Murtha-D): REP SESTAK 54 – SEN SPECTER 46

Presidential job offer – presidential endorsements

SESTAK:

[This is] a win for the people, over the establishment, over the status quo, even over Washington, D.C. Some want to go back to the failed policies of George Bush. Letting Wall Street do whatever it wants or just say no to progress. On the other hand, I think we know we’re in pretty tough times, but we know that we can go forward, we know that we must go forward. But to do so we need a public servant, not a politician.

As for SPECTER:

We disagreed about a number of things, but we’re Americans. But he has done good things for Pennsylvania.

It’s time to retire the George Bush line. Shows how little they’ve done to change things.

SPECTER tweet:

Congratulations, Congressman Sestak. You have my support for the general election.

To his supporters:

It’s been a great privilege to serve the people of Pennsylvania. And it’s been a great privilege to be in the United States Senate, and I’ll be working very, very hard for the people of the Commonwealth in the coming months. Thank you all.

ARK: SEN BLANCHE LINCOLN 45 – GOV HALTER 43

June 8 runoff (neither recevied 50%)

KY (Bunning-R): DR RAND PAUL 59SoS TREY GRAYSON 35

Tea Party-backed PAUL:

I have a message. A message from the Teapartiers. A message that’s loud and clear and does not mince words:

We’ve come to take our goverment back!
